USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins declared that bird flu vaccines are “off the table”, citing lack of efficacy and long-term risks to chicken populations. Under Biden’s policies, over 160 million chickens were culled and the price of eggs skyrocketed due to shortages. Rollins’ $1 billion plan focuses on biosecurity, repopulation, deregulation, and egg imports to stabilize prices. She also recommends a common sense approach to promote healthy chicken flocks: a vitamin-rich diet, clean water, clean barns, less crowding, foraging in pastures and more.

Despite these data, the first measles vaccine was licensed in 1963, and widespread measles vaccination began in 1968. In 1985, researchers reported an outbreak of measles in a fully vaccinated group of adolescents in Corpus Christi, Texas. During the last 10 years, there has been an increase in measles, mumps, and rubella cases, mostly in vaccinated individuals and in communities with a high vaccination rate.

In order avoid repeating bad COVID policies, Popper advocates for forming close connections with people who are geographically close and of like mind. She recommends Americans “be like the Amish,” a small group of people who were relatively unaffected by public health nonsense in 2020. They did not close their businesses or their schools, or wear masks, or stop going to church; and almost none of them agreed to a COVID vaccine.
