I just hatched some eggs to make more eggs.
Might get to fill up my freezers with a whole cow from the farmer down the road instead of the frozen shit trucked half way around the continent first.
Farm swaps twice a month…
We rarely buy beef anymore. We raise our own Cornish Cross Chickens and butcher on property straight to the freezer. Deer taken processed and straight to the freezer. Stocked pond with bluegill bass and catfish, and the occasional pig, rabbits, quail. Gardening is a lot easier.

Trying to get ahead of the curve
I've raised the best pork I've ever had but cant stand hauling and throwing the feed especially when they push 250+lbs.
Finish the last 2-3 weeks on crushed black walnuts. It adds something you will never find at the grocery store.
