Idiot Albanese has some changes coming in April for you smokers out there
Product name changes.
Cigarettes will only be sold in packs of 20 with uniform product sizes which means slim cigarettes and unique filters will be banned.
They are also banning all menthol cigarettes, crush menthol cigarettes, menthol tobacco and all menthol rolling filters.
Daiquiri/Mojito/Pina Colada Weekender filters will also be banned.
All clove cigarettes will be banned, these cigarettes are in limited supply.
Tobacco will only be available to sell in 30g pouches. For example, if your favourite blend currently comes in a 50g/57g/100g tin or a 50g pouch, going forward it will only be available in 30g pouches. Likewise if your blend comes in a 10g/15g/25g/40g pouch it will only be available in 30g pouches.
They are also banning all flavoured and aromatic roll your own tobacco, pipe tobacco, cigarillos and cigars.
