Massie Donations Pour In - Jewish Group Vows To Help Trump Oust Him
President Trump's social-media tirade against hard-line deficit-hawk Thomas Massie has had a big effect – but not exactly the one Trump wanted. Since Trump's late-night tantrum in which he called for the Republican congressman to be ousted via a primary challenge, the Kentucky congressman has raked in more than $200,000 in donations. That huge and growing windfall comes as the Republican Jewish Coalition promised to help make Trump's dream of a Congress without Massie come true.
Massie provoked Trump's wrath on Sunday, when he vowed to vote against a continuing resolution (CR) that would fund the government through Sept 30 – but without spending cuts. "Why would I vote to continue the waste fraud and abuse DOGE has found?" wrote Massie on X. "We were told the CR in December would get us to March when we would fight. Here we are in March, punting again!"
On Monday evening, a sputtering Trump used his Truth Social account to lash out at the libertarian-minded Massie:
"HE SHOULD BE PRIMARIED, and I will lead the charge against him. He's just another GRANDSTANDER, who's too much trouble and not worth the fight. He reminds me of Liz Cheney before her historic, record breaking fall (loss!). The people of Kentucky won't stand for it, just watch. DO I HAVE ANY TAKERS??"
Eventually, the CR passed 217-213; thanks to Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, it's currently dead in the Senate. However, the follow-on effects of Trump's political attack on Massie have continued – mostly in ways that add up to a big net-positive for Massie.
"I've received an amazing outpouring of support since I was attacked for voting No on the Biden-$-level CR. In fact, we just hit $205,000 from 2500 grassroots donors!" Massie wrote using his campaign's X account late Thursday afternoon, urging like-minded people to help keep the trend going. Earlier he'd noted that the influx pushed the balance of his campaign coffer over $1 million for the first time.

FEMA Launches Probe Of NGOs Who Helped Traffic Illegal Migrants
The Trump administration has launched a review of organizations that provide temporary housing and other aid to migrants, suggesting they may have violated a law prohibiting human trafficking.
The Department of Homeland Security has “significant concerns” that federal grants used to address a surge of migration under former President Joe Biden were used for illegal activities, wrote Cameron Hamilton, acting administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
His letter, dated Tuesday and obtained by The Associated Press, asks recipients of grants from FEMA’s Shelter and Services Program to provide names and contact information for migrants served and “a detailed and descriptive list of specific services provided” within 30 days. The letter says funding will be withheld during the review.
While it doesn’t explicitly threaten criminal prosecution, it raises concerns that recipients may have violated U.S. Criminal Code Section 1324, a felony offense against bringing people across the border illegally or transporting them within the United States. It also says executive officers must sign sworn statements that they have no knowledge or suspicions of anyone in their organizations violating the smuggling law.
FEMA did not immediately respond to a request for comment late Wednesday.
Hamilton’s letter suggests that the U.S. government is taking action to address a scandal that the House GOP has been chasing for years.

Indian tycoon’s conglomerate inks deal with Starlink
Telecoms operator Jio, owned by India’s richest man, has agreed to help facilitate satellite internet to a market of almost 1 billion people
Indian tycoon Mukesh Ambani's Jio, the largest telecom operator in the country, has announced a partnership with Elon Musk's SpaceX to bring Starlink internet service to India. The move came after a similar announcement was made by Airtel, country’s second largest telecom operators by market share.
Jio, a part of Ambani’s vast Reliance Industries conglomerate, which operates ini hydrocarbons and petrochemicals, retail, telecom and media, said in a statement on Wednesday that it will utilize its vast data traffic network to bring Starlink’s broadband services to all parts of India, particularly in the rural and remote areas.
The company also stated that it will sell Starlink equipment in its stores and provide support for installation and activation through a dedicated customer service mechanism. At the same time, SpaceX has to obtain receipt of necessary government approvals to operate in India, both telecom operators noted in their statements. Yes both need government approvals like with satellite phones.
Notably, the partnership between Jio and Starlink follows a previous disagreement between the two companies regarding the allocation of spectrum for satellite services in India. While Reliance Jio had advocated for an auction-based approach, the Indian government ultimately decided to allocate the spectrum administratively, a method supported by Elon Musk and in line with international practices.
India, home to a population of 1.4 billion, boasts one of the world’s largest telecom markets, with a subscriber base of 954 million, according to government data. Unintentionally, Starlink services ran into controversies.

Amazon, Google, And Meta Plan To Triple Nuclear Energy Capacity By 2050
At the CERAWeek conference in Houston, Amazon, Google, Occidental, and Japan’s IHI Corp pledged to help triple global nuclear energy capacity by 2050, according to Reuters.
"We are truly at the beginning of a new industry," said U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright.
The World Nuclear Association (WNA) expects more support for the pledge from maritime, aviation, and oil and gas industries in the coming months. This builds on a 2023 commitment by over 30 countries to triple nuclear capacity by 2050.
Nuclear energy, generating 9% of global electricity from 439 reactors, is increasingly attractive for power-hungry data centers, with Big Tech signing billion-dollar utility deals.
Reuters reported that uranium oxide prices hit a 16-year high in early 2024 due to supply concerns and rising demand, following COVID-19 disruptions. Supply remains tight, with Kazakhstan, Canada, and Australia producing two-thirds of global uranium in 2022, according to WNA.
As of early 2025, 411 nuclear reactors operated worldwide with a combined 371-gigawatt capacity. Amazon, investing over $1 billion in nuclear projects, is exploring small modular reactors, while Meta and Google are also considering the emerging technology.
We've been following the story since late last year. We wrote back in early November that Mark Zuckerberg reportedly told Meta workers that plans to build an AI data center powered by nuclear energy were scrapped after rare bees were discovered on the proposed site.
But by December it looked like things could be back on track, according to reporting from Axios, who noted first that Meta is joining industry heavyweights like Amazon and Google in exploring nuclear energy as a zero-carbon solution.

Ukraine guilty over 2014 Odessa massacre – ECHR
Kiev failed to both prevent the tragedy and to properly investigate it, the court has ruled
The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has ruled that the Ukrainian authorities were responsible for the deaths of 42 anti-coup activists in the city of Odessa in 2014. They lost their lives when Ukrainian nationalists, who supported the armed takeover in Kiev weeks earlier, torched the port city’s Trade Unions House where the protesters had gathered.
“The Court concluded that the relevant authorities had not done everything they reasonably could to prevent the violence, to stop that violence after its outbreak, and to ensure timely rescue measures for those trapped in the fire in the Trade Union Building,” the ECHR said in its decision published on Thursday.
More than a decade later, Kiev has not named or prosecuted any of the perpetrators. Instead, it pinned the blame on Moscow, claiming that the events in Odessa were “a pre-planned and well-financed operation” by the Russian security services. Moscow has repeatedly called for an investigation, even a special tribunal on the massacre.
Relatives of 25 victims, as well as three people who had survived the fire, filed complaints against Kiev with the ECHR. The court found the Ukrainian police “had ignored the available intelligence and the relevant warning signs” and failed to make any “meaningful attempt to prevent the clashes” that led to the fire. The ECHR believes that “propaganda from Russia had had its part” in stirring up tensions, but said that does not absolve Kiev of responsibility for the massacre.

Thomas Massie Stands Strong And Fights The Continuing Resolution As The GOP Targets Him Politically
The Thomas Caucus Is Not Backing Down
Republican Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie is strongly stating his opposition to the Continuing Resolution budget bill that is coming up for a vote this week. Meanwhile, neocon forces are targeting his political career in general, because Massie is a consistent anti-establishment voice in Congress. Things got heated Tuesday when President Trump slammed Massie on Truth Social and hinted that he’s going to back a primary challenger to Massie.
Though President Trump supports passage of the Continuing Resolution in order to prevent a government shutdown, Massie and many of Trump’s supporters are disappointed to see Republicans sign off on more Swamp spending after getting a lot of budget-cutting conservative wins with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) project.
“If it passes this week, the CR obligates Trump (from now until September) to spend the same amounts of money on generally the same things Biden spent money on in his last 15 months in office. We could pass recisions later to undo some things, but there’s no commitment to do so,” Massie recently tweeted.
Prior to Trump’s post, Massie brushed off a threat from former Trump campaign adviser Chris LaCivita, who has been aligned with the neocon wing of the GOP throughout his career. Massie said that no primary challenger to him has cracked 25 percent in his district since he first ran afoul of party leadership. It seems like a bad bet for Trump to try to knock Massie out in his own backyard.
The Republican Jewish Coalition is also targeting Massie’s political career, presumably due in no small part to Massie’s vocal criticism of the GOP’s subservience to the foreign nation-state of Israel.

Canadian psychologist and political commentator Dr. Jordan Peterson has co-authored a brief report that claims the Christian phrase “Christ is King” has been hijacked by online extremists. However, the report is full of basic errors.

A Democratic member of Congress has emerged as a vocal defender of the status quo at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and is the son of scientists connected to the embattled government agency.
Rep. Jake Auchincloss of Massachusetts expressed opposition to the Trump administration’s cuts at the NIH at a House Energy and Commerce Committee markup on Feb. 25, arguing “curiosity-driven peer reviewed basic research is not meant to pass the politicians’ test.”
But Auchincloss may have a conflict of interest: his parents. Auchincloss’s father, Hugh Auchincloss, was an aide to National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Anthony Fauci for 16 years. No run-of-the-mill bureaucrat, the senior Auchincloss steered intramural research at NIAID from 2014 to 2015 and stepped in as the acting director of NIAID from 2022 to 2023.
Despite typically operating behind-the-scenes, Auchincloss’s name came under public scrutiny in emails revealed under the Freedom of Information Act by BuzzFeed News in 2021. Officials in Fauci’s inner circle, including the elder Auchincloss, had privately discussed research supported by NIAID with the Wuhan Institute of Virology in February 2020 — months before the research became known to much of the public.
Specifically, the emails showed Hugh Auchincloss had aided Fauci as he privately sought information about why its coronavirus research with the Wuhan lab hadn’t been checked through more rigorous protocols, even while Fauci publicly downplayed the possibility of a lab-generated virus.
It was not until April 2020, approximately 2.5 months later, that discussion about a possible connection between the coronavirus research in Wuhan and the emerging pandemic entered into mainstream discourse.

‘Blood libel’: Israel slams UN report claiming it committed ‘genocidal acts’ in Gaza
Israeli officials, women’s groups accuse UN panel of bias and antisemitism for alleging Israeli forces ‘intentionally destroyed’ fertility center and perpetrated sexual violence
Israel on Thursday denounced as a “blood libel” a new United Nations report that accused the country of perpetrating “genocidal acts” against Palestinians in the war started by the Hamas onslaught of October 7, 2023, and that claimed Israeli forces systematically destroyed women’s healthcare facilities and used sexual violence as a war strategy.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, women’s groups and Israel’s mission to the UN rejected the report as unfounded and antisemitic, saying it attempted to equate Israel’s conduct during the fighting in the Gaza Strip with the horrific acts of sexual violence committed by Palestinian terrorists during the Hamas-led atrocities that sparked the war. The Foreign Ministry called it “one of the worst cases of blood libel the world has ever seen.”
The report was published Thursday by the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem and Israel. The three-person body was formed in May 2021, following a previous round of conflict in Gaza, to probe alleged human rights violations.
According to the Thursday report, Israel “intentionally attacked and destroyed” Gaza’s main fertility center while imposing a siege on Strip and blocking aid that included medication meant to ensure safe pregnancies, deliveries and neonatal care.
“Israeli authorities have destroyed in part the reproductive capacity of the Palestinians in Gaza as a group, including by imposing measures intended to prevent births, one of the categories of genocidal acts in the Rome Statute and the Genocide Convention,” the report read.

Newsom Let Thousands Of Prisoners Walk During COVID. Then Crime Skyrocketed.
Under Newsom’s watch, violent crime in California has skyrocketed. Homicides jumped by 33.9 percent and aggravated assaults by 25.3 percent in 2022, with gun‑related homicides and aggravated assaults soaring by 37.7 percent and 61.1 percent, respectively. The actual rates are likely much higher. Crime data only captures incidents reported to police, and many crimes go unreported.
The rapidly rising crime rates didn’t just occur in a vacuum. They directly correspond with Newsom’s decade‑plus‑long progressive experiment with criminal justice reform, which has resulted in far lighter sentences and the premature release of violent criminals from jail. After Newsom released tens of thousands of prisoners during COVID, ostensibly to prevent the virus from spreading among California’s incarcerated criminals, the state prison population dropped from 160,000 in 2011 to around 91,556 by mid‑2024. As we discuss in Chapter 4, Newsom has been accused of releasing these prisoners under a false premise. COVID death rates in the state corrections system have been markedly lower than in the outside population. Even as crime surges, Newsom’s administration estimates the prison population will drop to roughly 86,000 by 2028.
Newsom is not only emptying prisons; he is also shutting them down. His administration has closed or is closing four state prisons, and has plans to “reimagine and transform” San Quentin, the state’s oldest and most notorious prison (and previous home to the largest “death row” in the United States), into a rehabilitation center. “We are literally tearing down walls to reimagine our prison system, incentivize true rehabilitation, and end cycles of violence and crime,” Newsom said in a 2024 press release. “Brick by brick, we’re building a new future that will make all of us safer.” But Newsom cited no evidence that the state is growing safer because there is none. As we will explain in Chapter 5 the state’s corrections agency won’t disclose rehabilitation results for the years Newsom has served in review copy office. Again, Newsom and the progressives’ failed COVID policies exacerbated the problem. During the pandemic, when millions were out of work and the state had the highest unemployment in the nation, flash mobs of masked robbers stormed through the doors of Nordstrom and other high‑end retailers in San Francisco and Greater Los Angeles, stealing thousands of dollars of purses, clothes, and jewelry. This type of organized retail theft has become such a massive problem that many retailers are closing their doors for good. By mid‑ 2024, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Whole Foods, Anthropologie, Old Navy, Office Depot, 7‑Eleven, and Denny’s all announced plans to close stores in downtown San Francisco or nearby Oakland. Starbucks and Target have also closed locations.

Rubio: Pro-Terrorist, Anti-Semitic Visa Holders Will Be Removed From U.S.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio strongly pushed back on claims that the United States did something wrong after he stripped a foreign national of their student visa because of the individual’s support for Hamas, a designated terrorist organization, and his participation in anti-Semitic activities at Columbia University.
Rubio told reporters on Wednesday that the individual came into the U.S. on a visa, which means they are a visitor in the country.
“We can deny you that visa,” he said. “We can deny you that if you tell us when you apply, ‘Hi, I’m trying to get into the United States on a student visa. I am a big supporter of Hamas, a murderous, barbaric group that kidnaps children, that rapes teenage girls, that takes hostages, that allows them to die in captivity, that returns more bodies than live hostages.'”
“If you tell us that you are in favor of a group like this, and if you tell us when you apply for your visa, ‘and by the way, I intend to come to your country as a student and rile up all kinds of anti-Jewish student, anti-Semitic activities, I intend to shut down your universities,'” he continued. “If you told us all these things when you applied for a visa, we would deny your visa.”
Rubio explained that anyone in the U.S. on a visa who engages in that type of activity will be removed from the country.
“This is not about free speech,” he said. “This is about people that don’t have a right to be in the United States to begin with. No one has a right to a student visa. No one has a right to a green card, by the way. So when you apply for a student visa or any visa to enter the United States, we have a right to deny you for virtually any reason.”

Tulsi Gabbard Cancels Appointment of Israel Critic After Israel Lobby Complains

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard's attempt to appoint Israel critic Daniel Davis for the position of deputy DNI for mission integration was scuttled at the last minute on Wednesday in response to complaints from the Israel Lobby and their mouthpieces.
