I've just started watching it and am still on the fence. I think whoever wrote some of it was badly abused, and I've heard that is what can perpetrate it as well.

So far it mostly seems to call out dodgy behaviour toward kids, perhaps not in the best way, and sometimes maybe a bit too far.

It's got some great stuff to say about other things though, so I'm going to stick with it for now.

I hope this gets cleared up one way or the other.

Yes, and actually I don't think it was omega I was thinking about originally. It's another system that puts the active element in the sea for a kilometers or so and uses huge amounts of power. I'll have to find those books again…
