Kelly Clarkson has been absent from her daytime talk show, and, while we do not have an answer to where she's been, the 42-year-old has shared a message with her fans on Instagram.
The Kelly Clarkson Show has gone on without its host, and guest hosts including Wanda Sykes, Brooke Shields, and Kevin Hart, Roy Wood Jr., Simu Liu, and Willie Geist have stepped in to fill her shoes. Molly Sims returns to host the show today, March 14. The unexplained absence has caused concern among Kelly's fans.
When Simu Liu hosted last week, the actor told the audience, "Here's the thing, I did not know that I was doing this until five minutes ago when I arrived here to promote my new movie Last Breath…so I'm here now, and I'm not one to back down from a challenge." There has been no mention of her absence since.
News outlets have since reported that Kelly is dealing with a personal matter: TMZ reported, "Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ… Kelly herself is completely fine. She's been dealing with a personal matter that does not directly involve her."
