has notified FBI employees of a major re-organization of the bureau. Here is the text of his memo, obtained by @NBCNews
:
Colleagues,
Following up on my announcement yesterday of my realignment plan for the Bureau, I'm now sharing the new regional reporting structure for ADiCs and SACs going forward.
As disoussed, we are realigning FBI Headquarters into five branches under the new acting Branch Directors:
•Human Capital Director - Kevin Vorndran
•Infrastructure Director - Shannon Parry
•Operations Director National Security - Steve
Jensen
•Operations Director Criminal/Cyber - Chad
Yarbrough
•Operations Director Field Services - Michael
Glasheen
The National Security, Criminal/Cyber, and Field Services Operations Directors will also be responsible for a geographical region of SACs, divided into East, Central, and West regions. ADICs will report to the Deputy Director. These changes are meant to empower our SACs through improved engagement and leadership connections.
Here is the breakdown of the new reporting structure:

Director Criminal/Cyber Chad Yarborough:
BF, PG, CV, DE, MW, CG, SI, IP, GI, LS, NV, LR, JN, NO, DL, HO, SA, EP
West (17 offices) - reporting to Operations Director Field Services Michael Glasheen:
MP, SL, OM, KC, OC, DN, AQ, PX, SU, LV, SE, PD, SG, SE, SD, AN, HN
As I discussed yesterday, the goal of this realignment Is to streamline our Headquarters functions while ensuring the field has all the necessary resources to fulfill our mission of protecting the American people and upholding the Constitution.
