Elon Musk’s DOGE Team Doubling to 200 Employees Amid Federal Workforce Cuts Elsewhere

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) that Elon Musk oversees is responsible for aggressively downsizing the workforce in federal government, yet DOGE is set to grow to about 200 employees, up from about 100 federal workers who currently work on the team. Musk is considered a “special government employee”, but he does not receive a federal government salary. DOGE employees are paid, and some are earning six-figure federal salaries.

Trump Threatened US Representative Thomas Massie for Voting Against Funding Bill

Both chambers of Congress passed the continuing resolution (CR) bill to avoid government shutdown. Republican Representative Thomas Massie explained that he was the sole Republican in the House who voted against the CR bill because it merely continues the Biden administration–Schumer budget of 2024 without any cuts in spending. He explained months ago that Congress delays funding bills until it becomes an emergency to pass them.

President Trump recently pounced on Massie, who had declared his opposition to the government CR funding proposal. Trump called Massie a ‘grandstander’ and threatened to oust him from office by running a Republican candidate against him in the next primary election. In response, Massie was flooded with donations for his next election.

Trump previously attacked Massie ahead of the lawmaker’s GOP primary in 2020, because Massie opposed Trump’s $2 trillion COVID bailout bill. Massie won that contest in Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District by a landslide, earning nearly 81% of the vote

The suspect said, "yes".

The cop knew it was fentanyl and he's lying now.
