Trump Puts Cheney, Fauci on Notice: Declares Pardons Officially ‘Void’ and Demands Investigation

President Donald Trump declared any pardons signed by former president Joe Biden via autopen are officially "void," directing his ire very specifically at the House Select Committee behind the investigation of the January 6th protest at the Capitol.

Trump's comments were posted on his Truth Social media platform in the early hours of Monday morning.

"The 'Pardons' that Sleepy Joe Biden gave to the Unselect Committee of Political Thugs, and many others, are hereby declared VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT, because of the fact that they were done by Autopen," the President wrote.

"In other words, Joe Biden did not sign them but, more importantly, he did not know anything about them! The necessary Pardoning Documents were not explained to, or approved by, Biden."

It cannot be overstated how serious the autopen scandal during the Biden administration may be. A bombshell story published by the New York Post last week indicates a top aide to the former President "may have made unilateral determinations on what to auto-sign."

“I think [the aide] was using the autopen as standard and past protocol,” the Post’s source said. "There is no clarity on who actually approved what — POTUS or [the aide].”

Presidents have used autopen signatures for decades, butthey are rarely used for significant legislation or declarations. Add the fact that Biden's cognitive decline was a concern—we now know it was evident to White House insiders "for years" thanks to Jake Tapper's sudden-onset journalism—and it provided unheard-of power to the person behind the pen.

Or, as the Post's informant stated, that aide "basically was the president."

According to President Trump, the person behind the autopen signatures may have been committing an illegal act or acts. "[Biden] knew nothing about them, and the people that did may have committed a crime," he wrote.

As such, Trump declaredthat those given pardons, including members of the House Select Committee regarding January 6th and several others, were now subject to"investigation at the highest level."

The pardons he references include the J6 committee members, key among them being former members of CongressLiz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger and Sen. Adam Schiff(D-CA). They also encompass other controversial figures such as Dr.Anthony Fauci and General Mark Milley.

Schiff, Cheney, and Kinzinger played a key role on the House Select Committee, which used specious evidence to create a false media narrative about insurrection and ultimately led to jail time for multiple Trump associates who refused to cooperate with the circus.

Fauci became a lightning rod for criticism during the COVID-19 crisis and, according to critics, perjured himself in congressional testimony regarding statements on gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Milley, meanwhile, somehow escaped being court-martialed when it was revealed he was willing to warn China if an attack was in the works.

All of these individuals were preemptively pardoned in the waning hours of Biden's presidency, and it seems highly unlikely that he signed those documents personally or was even aware they were being issued.

It's difficult to say whether Trump's declaration that these pardons are "void " has any legal heft, though it's clear he would like a thorough investigation into the matter. It's going to be a difficult mess to untangle.

The key issue with Biden’s pardons—if signed by autopen—hinges on whether he personally authorized them. If evidence emerges that Biden was unaware of or did not approve the pardons due to cognitive decline or staff overreach, then their legality could almost certainly be challenged in court.

Additionally, it's unclear the legality of sweeping, blanket preemptive pardons in the first place.

Unsurprisingly, that same group is fine with one or more aides of Biden controlling an autopen of Biden’s signature, despite Biden clearly having been senile for all or most of his time in office. Germany recruiting Afghan migrants as mercenaries for Ukraine – RT source (VIDEO)

Security experts are reportedly concerned that the scheme could expose Germany to an elevated terrorism threat

The German government has been coercing Afghan refugees into fighting for Ukraine, a source has claimed to RT. Thescheme allegedly targets refugeeswho have been detained for various crimes, with the threat of deportation if they refuse to comply.

According to an individual whose identity cannot be disclosed for security reasons, the “German authoritiesare forcing Afghan migrants tojoin the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukrainein order to urgently replenish the personnel of the Kiev regime’s armed forces, which is experiencing anacute shortage of people.”

The scheme supposedly involves approximately2,300 refugees detainedby German police for various crimes in cities such as Berlin, Bonn, Cologne, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt am Main, and Stuttgart.

“In the event ofrefusal to signthe relevant contract and go to Ukraine, the migrants arethreatened with guaranteed extraditionto Afghanistan,” the source claimed.

The source further alleges that a number ofGerman security expertshave sounded the alarm over the potential ramifications for Germany’s national security, especially with respect to the threat posed by radical Islamists.

“Some of the refugees are likely to return to Germany after the expiration of their imposed contracts, possessing skills in handling weapons and explosives, as well as experience in combat,” the experts have warned, according to the source.

Last month, Bild reported that at least onerecruitment center belonging to Ukraine’s neo-Nazi Azov brigade was operating near Berlin. A recruiter told the media outlet that they were seeking “supporters for our new international battalion.”

Russian authorities have consistently prosecuted foreign nationals caught fighting for Kiev, whom they describe as mercenaries. In January, a Russian court sentenced retired US Army Ranger Patrick Creed to 13 years in prison for serving with the Ukrainian military from 2022 to 2023. In March, British citizen James Scott Rhys Anderson was handed a 19-year sentence for participating in Ukraine’s incursion into Russia’s Kursk Region.

Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that foreign mercenaries fighting for Kiev are not entitled to the same legal protections under international law as those granted to regular Ukrainian POWs.

The shift from reading to consuming video content may have diminished human intelligence, research finds

Human intellectual abilities such as reasoning and problem-solving are diminishing, possibly due to increased exposure to visual media, the Financial Times (FT) has reported.

Human intelligence appeared to peak in the early 2010s and has been in decline since, the FT added, citing PISA, an international benchmarking test for 15-year-olds that includes reading, mathematics and science, and adult cognitive evaluations.

The reported trend comes amid a rise in artificial intelligence (AI) which, by some estimates, may surpass human IQ in a matter of years.

The recorded spike in the share of high school students who reported difficulties in PISA tests coincides with a broad change in people’s relationship with information, such as the transition away from reading and towards visual content, the publication explained.

While active, intentional use of digital technologies can often be beneficial, being passively exposed to infinite content on social media coupled with frequent context-switching has been shown to negatively impact attention span, memory, and self-regulation. The documented decline in reading among Americans reportedly comes alongside a decrease in numeracy and other forms of problem-solving in most countries.

Human intellectual capabilities, such as critical thinking, have also been impacted by generative AI, according to recent research by Microsoft and Carnegie Mellon University. Outsourcing thoughts to AI leaves people’s minds “atrophied and unprepared,” which can lead to “the deterioration of cognitive faculties that ought to be preserved.”

Companies and governments have poured billions into AI research, focusing on areas such as machine learning, natural language processing, and automation. Tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI have introduced increasingly sophisticated models, such as ChatGPT and Gemini, capable of performing complex cognitive tasks.

AI could become smarter than humans in the next three years, tech billionaire Elon Musk warned in December, shortly after his AI company, xAI, launched its first image generation model, Aurora.

Moscow accuses London of ‘piracy’

Calls to seize Russia’s frozen central bank assets follow “English traditions,” the Foreign Ministry has said

Russia has accused the United Kingdom of engaging in modern-day piracy following former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s call to seize the Russian assets that were frozen in the West as part of Ukraine-related sanctions.

In a social media post on Sunday, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova likened Sunak’s position to historical acts of piracy.

“This is one of the English traditions, like tea drinking and horse racing. The fact is that piracy was legalized in England. Pirates were forbidden to attack English ships but were allowed to plunder rival vessels,”Zakharova wrote on Telegram.

Zakharova’s criticism followsSunak’s poston X, where he claimed that“Now is the time to seize [the Russian assets] and make Russia pay.”

The former British prime minister was referring to the roughly $300 billion in assets belonging to Russia’s central bank that had been immobilized by the Western financial system as part of Ukraine-related sanctions since 2022. The assets are mostly EU, US, and British government bonds held in a Brussels-based securities depository.

“If we don’t act, [the assets] could be handed back to Moscow to fund Putin’s next war,” Sunak wrote on Sunday.

The UK has consistently supported the seizure of frozen Russian assets. Last month, Foreign Secretary David Lammy said that Europe should move from freezing Russian assets to actively seizing them.

Earlier this month, the British government agreed to issue a $2.84 billion loan to Ukraine backed by the income generated by the assets. In response, Moscow accused London of violating international law and warned that it will have to give the money back.

The EU’s economic sanctions against Russia come up for renewal every six months with the next extension due in July.

The US launched negotiations last month to broker peace in Ukraine, with President Donald Trump indicating that sanctions against Moscow could be lifted if a settlement is achieved. Additionally, Hungary has repeatedly threatened to veto the renewal of EU sanctions against Russia. This means that the assets could potentially be released and returned to Moscow.

The European Parliament last week called on EU member states, in collaboration with G7 partners, to “immediately seize all frozen Russian assets” in order to continue financing Kiev.

Moscow has repeatedly decried the asset freeze as “theft,” while the Kremlin has warned of consequences if Western countries go ahead with the proposed confiscation.

German media told to conceal Nazi symbols in Ukraine – Moscow

Berlin has forbidden journalists from showing banned images in their coverage, according to Russian intelligence

The German government has ordered national media outlets not to show Nazi symbols in Ukraine, according to the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).Journalists have been warned that they may face legal repercussions for broadcasting any such imagery, the agency reported on Monday.

The guidelines advise reporters to“politely”ask Ukrainian soldiers displaying the swastika or other Nazi-associated symbols to remove the “agitation elements” and avoid “unwelcome actions,” such as performing the Nazi salute, according to the SVR.

The agency emphasized thatthe prevalence of Nazi iconography and ideology in contemporary Ukraine is well-documented. The recommendation to exclude evidence from broadcasts suggests an effort to mislead the German public about the situation, the SVR claimed.

While the Russian report did not specify when the document was issued or which branch of the government was responsible, it stated that compliance by news outlets reflects a lack of independence.

Under the German Criminal Code, public display of symbols associated with the Third Reich is generally prohibited, except for educational, scientific, journalistic, or artistic purposes.

According to Moscow, modern Ukrainian nationalism is shaped by historical collaboration with Nazi Germany during World War II. Figures such as Stepan Bandera, who sought to establish a Ukrainian nation-state under German patronage, are celebrated as national heroes.

Western media and officials haveminimized the use of Nazi symbols by Ukrainian soldiers, framing it as a historical quirk rather than a sign of neo-Nazi affiliations, and dismissing contrary claims as “Russian propaganda.”

Moscow contends that it has amassed substantial evidence of Ukrainian atrocities driven by notions of national supremacy, justifying its designation of the Kiev government as a neo-Nazi regime.
