Jewish people out of the Abrahamic religions has more of a sense of that some times God can have a curse but a lesson with in it then other religions. The New Testament is really like of a different mind set this is really Bible 101 study stuff actually. The older book is Hebrew which is what the Jewish faith is largely based on… however these concepts apply to both the Christian and Islamic faiths as well.
