Of course maybe I am lying…
I think it is important to understand that China is in another situation then the US and other areas of the world. In reality an AI system that is being tested is a cheaper form of law enforcement which is more set up on the idea is not enough police because they have a billion people. They do not have the infrastructure and also the resources we do to man/woman it the way we do. So this is like going to a college with smaller or larger classes studies show smaller class sizes with hands on usually will work better at lest until advanced studies… then by this stage is they do not know how this study then they do not belong in the class
This is more of a demographic issues then anything. Police should not want AI to a large extent because it is like stores going away from live check outs but much worse so on… we are talking about the law here… think I’d the fire department was run this way. It is just police have more of a wider range or issues they deal with then people think is all.
So this where it maybe something that spoiled people like yourself that know it all should maybe ride along for 6 months to see what it is like in not the best area. Perhaps you will gain a new respect for the profession so to speak. Maybe a week with different types but then beat to be the longest it is likely why they did the show cops. This brings a little reality to the whole experience so on not so much Hollywood bs.
So I can’t say it is not a logical conclusion that china came to as it makes sense for a billion people that do not have the resources but the US does and I am in favor of more real police then not real.
It is kinda like China navy they kinda flip around in the water a little chasing things but mostly worried about their coast but the US has mult fleets and can cover all the major oceans at one time with out straining actually it was designed and built to do this for international trade security.
I believe the US is showing still to this day that it is by far the best at this job.
