Kiev thinks Trump ‘can’t stand’ Ukraine – Economist

Ukrainian officials previously slammed the US president for halting military aid after his falling-out with Vladimir Zelensky

US President Donald Trump “can’t stand” Ukraine, an official in Kiev has reportedly told The Economist, claiming that since the Republican returned to office,Washington has shifted from supporting Ukraine to treating it as a “customer.”

The report comes as Ukraine continues to suffer military setbacks, particularly in Russia’s Kursk Region, where Kiev launched an incursion last year. According to Moscow, most of the territory has already been liberated while the remainder of Ukraine’s forces have been encircled by the Russian military.

According to The Economist, some Ukrainian officials believeTrump’s recent move to temporarily cut off military aid and intelligence assistance to Kiev may have played a role in the country’s frontline setbacks. One source told the outletthat Trump may have been deliberately seeking to strip Kiev of bargaining power in future negotiations with Russia. (Oh so it’s Trump’s fault, it’s not that Ukraine has never been winning in this war. They had every asset from the DS but they continued to lose.)

A separate government official claimed it may have been a coincidence, but emphasized thatUkraine’s relationship with Washington has changed. “What is clear is that Trump can’t stand us,”the source said. “In seven weeks, we have switched from being allies to customers, and with largely imagined debts,” the source added, apparently referring to Trump’s demand that Ukraine return several hundred billion dollars that was reportedly provided under the administration of former President Joe Biden. (Most Americans can’t stand you!)

Since his inauguration in January,Trump has taken a starkly different approach to Ukraine than his predecessor. While the former administration pledged to support Ukraine financially and militarily for “as long as it takes,”Trump has instead been pressuring Kiev towards a ceasefireand peace negotiations with Moscow. (That’s the fucking point, Ukraine is not our concern, if you feel or don’t feel liked.)

In February, Trump had a public dispute with Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky during his visit to the White House, where the latter was accused of “gambling with World War III” by refusing to seek peace. After the heated exchange, Trump temporarily halted military aid and intelligence sharing with Kiev. However, the decision was reversed last week after the two sides held talks in Saudi Arabia, where Ukraine agreed to a US proposal of a 30-day ceasefire.

Since then, Washington has been trying to negotiate the terms of a ceasefire with Moscow. Trump is expected to hold a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday to discuss the initiative.

Moscow has signaled openness to negotiations on a truce, although Putin has stressed that a number of issues must be addressed beforehand, including resolving the situation surrounding Ukrainian forces in Kursk as well as guarantees that Kiev would not use a ceasefire to arm and remobilize.

(That’s the ingratitude, arrogance and stupidity that Ukraine leaders actually thought they weren’t just pawns in the game against Russia. Trump is the moderator he has to be objective. And their belief that Trump hates them if they continue to willingly kill millions of their own citizens, is childish. Like that’s a good thing to depopulate their country. They were believing the lies that Bidan and WW DS liked them. They are all unlikable, they can’t even agree on stopping the war, saying he doesn’t like them and he’s contractual, he’s trying to save lives and money for our country. Of course the relationship has changed, he’s not corrupt and won’t be deceived by them. They truly are unlikable creaturesThis is not going to engender Trump to support them more, with leaking their petty complaints through their gossip)

Ukraine released this on purpose the day of Putin and Trump’s phone to try to manipulate the outcome. Hey crybabies in Ukraine, it will only get worse if you continue to publicize your criticism and hatred for Trump and America!

EU leaders ‘trembling’ over Putin-Trump call – Bild

The talks between the Russian and US presidents couldhave “devastating consequences” for the bloc’s security, the German tabloid has claimed

The leaders ofEU nations are “trembling” ahead of Tuesday’s phone callbetween Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart, Donald Trump, which is expected tofocus on the settlementof the Ukraine conflict, German tabloid Bild has reported.

Trump has said he plans to speak with Putin on Tuesday for the second time since taking office two months ago. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on Monday that the conversation between the two leaders would be taking place. (Trump stated in a press conferences he’s talked to Putin many times, so it’s not their second phone call, they just announce it to freak the EU out. The EU really wants to be in the negotiations so they can sabotage them.)

During their phone call, Putin and Trump will address “the future of Ukraine and possibly also the future of Europe, with potentially devastating consequences for the security of our continent,”Bild claimed in an article on Tuesday. (They definitely cannot have Peace on the Continent!)

“That is why there is amood of alarmin Europe’s capitals,” the article added.

EU and NATO member-statesthat neighbor Russia – Poland, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania –are “afraid” of the phone call due to concerns that it “could mean a withdrawal of US troopsand an attack by the Russian military within a few years,” it said. (Such BS)

Putin has repeatedly dismissed claims that Moscow has any aggressive plans towards NATO as “nonsense” meant to scare the Western European population and increase military budgets.

France and the UK, which have been actively promoting the idea of sending Western European peacekeepers to Ukraine despite Moscow vehemently rejecting such a possibility, are “also preparing for the worst possible Trump-Putin pact,”Bild stressed.

“If Trump throws Ukraine under the bus, powerful EU states could step in, which could lead to a showdown with Moscow and Washington,” the paper wrote.(weird logic)

In a post on X on Tuesday, Trump said he was “very much” looking forward to his phone call with Putin. The fighting in Ukraine “must end now,” he insisted, adding that many elements of the Ukraine peace deal have already been agreed upon with Moscow, but that “much remains” to be addressed. (The EU and NATO have stated they want the war to go 2030, because they make billions off of it.)

The US president earlier said that he and Putin would discuss the territorial realities on the ground in the conflict between Moscow and Kiev, as well as the situation around nuclear power plants endangered by the fighting.

Kremlin spokesman Peskov has refused to reveal any details of the upcoming call, saying that “discussions between the two heads of state should not be preemptively disclosed.”

(RT never uses pics of Putin smiling and laughing. Kek! It’s obvious why they are freaking out and it’s none of the reasons they give. They lose billions on war ongoing and they just don’t want America and Russia to be Allie’s and friends; because that will reveal the lies and manipulations they’ve used on the President. Gig’s up!)

Trump ‘very much’ looking forward to call with Putin

Many elements of the Ukraine peace deal have been agreed upon, but some issues remain unresolved, the US president has said

US President Donald Trump has said that he is looking forward to his next conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, during which the settlement of the Ukraine conflict will be discussed.

Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on Sunday that he plans to speak with Putin on Tuesday for the second time since taking office. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on Monday that the conversation between the two leaders would take place the next day.

Trump has posted on his Truth Social platform that during his upcoming call with Putin, the two will focus on finding ways to end the Ukraine conflict.

“Thousands of young soldiers, and others, are being killed… it must end NOW,”he insisted.

Speaking about a possible peace deal between Washington and Moscow, the US president stressed that “many elements of a Final Agreement have been agreed to, but much remains.”

“I look very much forward to the call with President Putin,” Trump concluded.

The US president said earlier that during their conversation, he and his Russian counterpart will, among other things, address the territorial realities on the ground in the conflict between Moscow and Kiev, as well as the situation around nuclear power plants endangered by the fighting.

Peskov has refused to reveal any details of the upcoming call, saying that “discussions between the two heads of state should not be preemptively disclosed.”

Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff met with Putin in Moscow last week to propose a 30-day ceasefire, to which Kiev had agreed during talks with Washington in Saudi Arabia last week.

The Russian president said later that Moscow welcomes the ceasefire in principle, but insists that certain issues need to be addressed before he could agree to it.

Putin reiterated thatany settlement must address “the original causes of the crisis.” He also expressed concern that Ukraine could use the pause in the fighting to replenish its forces.

The Russian and US leaders first spoke on the phone in mid-February and, according to Peskov, discussed Ukraine, the Middle East and bilateral relations.Putin supported Trump’s stance that “our countries [should begin] working together,”the spokesman noted.

(I love it when Trump tells them he will be working with Putin to end the war. That’s what gets the DS freaked out, they wonder if Putin will share with Trump the horrible things they’ve done, only to keep the war going.)

D’oh Canada – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney Promises Industrial Carbon Taxes Will Stimulate Canadian Economic Sovereignty 1/2

March 18, 2025 | Sundance |

I do not like this Canadian Prime Minister even a little bit;however, Mark Carney getting elected to run Canada would be the greatest benefit to MAGAnomics in the United States. The insufferable doofus is completely enthralled with the views, perspectives and ideologies of globalism.

Prime Minister Carney’s “conservative” opponent,Pierre Marcel Poilievre, is a softer, gentler, and more effeminate version of former U.S. Presidential candidate Mitt Romney: he growls through his cashmere. In short, Canada is screwed.

All of that said, the normal thinking Canadians need to get through a Romney to get to a Trump;so, perhaps it’s better if Canada just increases the speed of the downward economic slope by installing Carney.

Somewhere around 80% of Canadians have no concept of how their economy is functioning{GO DEEP}. Most Canadians seem to think they have some form of capitalistic system in operation and tweeking the knobs will fix things; it won’t.

So, from an American political perspective, having Mark Carney carry out his policies and watching the system therein collapse, might break the borg-mindset. It will bemassively painful for Canadians when their currency hits around 0.25¢ to the US dollar. However, that currency collapse will ¹more than eliminate any Trump tariff impact.

Prime Minister Carney outlined yesterdayhow he will increase the industrial carbon tax in order to align with U.K and EU tradepartners on the issue of climate change.Taxing carbon, he says, is the key to unlocking excellent trade agreementswith other ‘global trade partners’who can then fill the void created by disconnecting Canada from the USA economy.

No, really, he said that. Carney believes it with all his heart. These economic comments come on the heels of Mark Carney telling French President Emmanuel Macron –in public– that Canada was the most European of countries outside the EU. WATCH THIS (prompted): (https://youtu.be/meNUiglbjoc

¹Here’s how it will happen. CAD = Canadian Dollar, USD = U.S Dollar

President Trump hits Canada with an approximately 50% tariff. Let’s say an import widget from Canada costs the purchaser/importer $100 CAD + 50% tariff, now $150 CAD.

$1 CAD = 0.70¢ USD

Without U.S. tariff, it costs $70 USD to purchase the $100 CAD widget.

With the U.S tariff it would take $105 USD to purchase $150 Canadian widget

However, due to economic policy, Canada’sdependence on the USA market and the tariff battle, the Canadian currency drops around 30%. $1 CAD now equals 0.50¢ USD

With currency drop it now costs $50 USD to purchase the original $100 Canadian widget. $75 USD with tariff.

BEFORE: $70 USD without U.S. tariff, or AFTER: $75 USD with 50% U.S. tariff. A net change of $5.

2/2

But wait, back to Mark Carney’s plan. As stated in his tariff policy, the prime minister will take income from the Canadian side of the tariff equation (countervailing duties) to subsidize the impacted export sector. Just like China and the EU did in ’17, ’18 and ’19, the Canadian government plans to offset the difference to the U.S. consumer by subsidizing the exporter with import tariff income. All of this is done to retain access to USA consumers.

The final outcome, the U.S. purchaser is back to the original price of $70, only now that same outcome is evident with an invisible $50 tariff.

This is what China tried to do. This is what the EU tried to do. This is whatCanada is now planning to do to retain access to the U.S. market while they look for alternatives.

But wait, it gets better….

….. As the Canadian financial sector evaluates the likely drop in the CAD currency, they seek safe harbor investment to retain the value of their money. The reciprocal tariffs are hitting every currency. The Canadian finance sector purchases dollar and dollar-backed assets to retain their value. This approach increases the value of the U.S dollar.

D’oh Canada!

CNN’s Katie Hunt Attempts to Debate Constitutional Law with Stephen Miller, Over Criminal Alien Deportation

March 18, 2025 | Sundance |

CNN’s KatieHunt cannot fathom the plenary power provided by the U.S. constitutionthat separates the power of the executive branch from judicial review on all determinations of ‘national security’. Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller attempts to educate the leftist media who stand jaw agape at the power contained within a nationally elected President Trump.

What follows in the debate is typical of what you would hear from a college student who recently exits the indoctrination program of a leftist university.

Hunt tries to argue ‘separation of power’ which is exactly the point Miller is making. Judge James Boasberg is overstepping his authority within the judicial branch by attempting to instruct the executive branch about ‘national security’ determinations.

The producers are trying to send Hunt instructions electronically, and while Hunt is checking her devices for instructions, she struggles to hear the arguments presented by Miller and organize counterpoints. CNN looks silly. WATCH:
