Here's a group of "veterans" in Edina, Minnesota protesting the GOP and Trump policies. Evidently, the organizers and activists for this event have no clue about the UCMJ and the law prohibiting the attendance of protests and/or political events while in uniform.
Those of us who've actually served in the military know this is a NO NO!
DoD Instruction 1344.01 – Wearing of the Uniform prohibits active-duty members, prior service members and retirees from wearing their uniform "when participating in activities such as unofficial public speeches, interviews, picket lines, marches, rallies or any public demonstration" that might imply military support for the cause.
