Supreme Court Justice John Roberts just rebuked President Trump – not by name – for suggesting impeachment of a federal judge in the deportations case of illegal immigrant gangbangers.

Now, Justice Roberts has just issued a statement about what Trump said:

“For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision. The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose.”

A 26-year-old Trump hater with “She/They” pronouns has been charged with felony criminal damage to property and misdemeanor criminal trespass after allegedly vandalizing a newly built Tesla sales, service, and delivery center with graffiti targeting Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and supporting “trans rights.”

The Daily Herald reports that Erin L. White, a resident of the Chicago suburb of Buffalo Grove, was arrested on charges of vandalizing the newly-built Tesla dealership located in the same town. The incident occurred on Friday, and White is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

According to reports, the graffiti on the building’s showroom glass contained several profanity-laden messages targeting President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who currently serves as a senior adviser to the president and heads the Department of Government Efficiency. One of the messages also expressed support for transgender rights. According to conservative influencer Libs of TikTok, White uses “She/They” pronouns.

When former President Joe Biden’s signature Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) passed in 2022, it did so along party lines with not a single Republican voting for it. At the time, a Senate one-pager summarized the law as costing taxpayers $369 billion, based on Congressional Budget Review (CBO) estimates.

A new study from the Cato Institute finds that the law could cost as much as $4.67 trillion by 2050. That's roughly 12 times the stated cost. The study also concludes that the subsidies are undermining innovation and driving investments toward subsidy farming rather than satisfying consumer demand.

“The government should not have a hold on the economy in such a way that it can truly distort entire markets, and that's what the Inflation Reduction Act is,” Joshua Loucks, research associate with Cato Institute and co-author of the analysis, said in a video explaining the study.

The Trump administration has been executing a series of reviews of regulations that federal agencies passed during the Biden years. Repealing some agency decisions may require congressional action. Due to the massive costs and market-impacting effects of the IRA, the study’s authors argue Congress should take a hard look at it. The law, they say, should be fully repealed, or Congress should place limitations on the subsidies, which the IRA mostly lacks.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio criticized anyone who supports pro-Hamas activist Mahmoud Khalil on First Amendment grounds but has also promoted censorship.

In a Sunday interview on CBS News’s “Face the Nation,” when asked by host Margaret Brennan about First Amendment concerns coming from Khalil’s arrest by federal immigration authorities two weeks ago, Rubio replied that “I find it ironic that a lot of these people out there defending the First Amendment speech, alleged free speech rights of these Hamas sympathizers they had no problem, okay, pressuring social media to censor American political speech.”

“So I think it’s ironic and hypocritical,” Rubio said.

In terms of what the crime was to warrant the arrest, Rubio answered that “[N]egotiating on behalf of people that took over a campus, that vandalized buildings. That's a crime in and of itself, that they're involved in being a negotiator, the spokesperson.”

Rubio stated that “…if you tell us, when you apply for a visa, 'I'm coming to the U.S. to participate in pro-Hamas events,' that runs counter to the foreign policy interest of the United States of America. If you had told us that you were going to do that, we never would have given you the visa.”

In the interview, Rubio said that Khalil is “going to leave—and so are others.”

“We’re going to keep doing it,” Rubio said.

“But the bottom line is this, if you are in this country to promote Hamas, to promote terrorist organizations, to participate in vandalism, to participate in acts of rebellion and riots on campus, we never would have let you in if we had known that. And now that we know it, you’re going to leave,” Rubio said.
