I was some where and a woman from 'MAGA' country was telling someone about it on the way out the door like it was a bad thing. I shook the man's hand and greeted him and left but then, as I was leaving I said 'Oh', as if I didn't know she doesn't like MAGA but imagined that she did (satirically but not unkindly)

'Isn't that great. You live in MAGA country where the people are friendly and you are safe'

"No." she said

"And everyone is welcome and things are awesome"

then I wished her an awesome evening.

these older women who hate MAGA need our love. They carry around a delusion that we aren't good people.
