Hollywood’s favorite 'pimp': Meet Scotty Bowers, the man who arranged clandestine liaisons for and with Tinseltown’s most famous faces – from Katharine Hepburn to Cary Grant – all after a chance encounter at an LA gas station
Scotty Bowers, 94, a self-described almost-pimp set up celebrities with sexual partners during Hollywood's Golden Age
He moved to Los Angeles and worked at a gas station, where he met actor Walter Pidgeon, who Bowers claims paid him to have sex
Bowers then grew a reputation for setting stars up with sexual partners or sleeping with them himself - all from his Hollywood Boulevard gas station
He claims to have set up Katharine Hepburn with 150 women over the course of 50 years
He also says he was part of a three-way with Cary Grant and Randolph Scott
Bowers first told his explicit stories in his memoir, Full Service, published in 2012
His Hollywood tales are being recounted again in a new documentary film, Scotty and The Secret History of Hollywood
