How Trump Can Reform American Education

President Trump will save American education the same way he will save America in any other area: by putting forward a compelling but optional vision for American education that will establish it as the Gold Standard for the world is the key to an American education revolution. President Trump needs full rein to use the grandeur of his office and, more importantly, the momentum of his second term, to reform education in three main ways.

First, President Trump needs to ensure that an education funded by the American constitutional government will cultivate a citizenry that will preserve it in turn. The president should not be shy about providing a model for patriotic education. President Trump has taken impressive first steps in this direction, but more will have to be done.

Second, President Trump should extend this positive vision to student achievement. The education cartel is very good at shapeshifting and rebranding for the latest fad. There’s a very real risk that the cartel will pay lip service to Trump’s efforts while pushing the same junk teaching practices that have gotten us into this mess. The Trump administration should recommend curriculum and educator-training providers that adhere to the best nonpartisan cognitive research on how students learn, as well as time-tested elements from the rapidly expanding classical education movement.

Third, Trump should enter the local education arena. The president is famous for going on offense against gross incompetence. Identify failing states. Pick on their governors and state superintendents. Catch a local school board story. Rake its superintendent over the coals. Push for the local election of district superintendents. Everybody from governors to state departments of education to local school boards and superintendents: the incompetence and complacency is palpable. They’ve overseen not only the wokeification of American education but also its staggering implosion. They deserve every bit of President Trump’s rather benevolent fury.

America's Sickness Requires Harsh Medicine. The cure may hurt, but healing is coming.

This is exactly what Donald Trump is doing to the United States. Mass deportations, with all the sob stories and scaremongering videos flooding social media; the short-term pains of a propped-up economy adapting to badly needed corrective measures; the messy business of foreign leaders waking up to the reality of an America that looks after her own interests — these things can be difficult to watch. But our (many) terminal diseases require radical interventions.

Trump addressed Congress earlier this month like a doctor methodically explaining how our cancer has spread and describing the life-saving measures he has to take to cure it. He is cutting away the tumor of waste and fraud. He is performing an immigrant-ectomy by deporting dangerous criminals. He is putting the government on DEI-alysis to clean out the destructive practice of race-based hiring. He is administering hardcore chemotherapy to the sick economy. He’s putting us on a strict low-fat, high-fiber diet. The federal budget is undergoing weekly injections of DOGE-zempic to transform its flabby body into a lean, mean fighting machine.

In short, President Trump is cardioverting the country.

How's the "community policing" going in Minnesota?

Minneapolis "violence interrupters" charged following exchange of gunfire that left one injured.

Two men working under the auspices of a Minneapolis community violence prevention group have been charged with weapons offenses after an exchange of gunfire in north Minneapolis last week that left one of them injured.

Police were dispatched to multiple Shotspotter activations indicating dozens of shots fired near 36th and Penn Avenue North, according to police scanner audio. Shotspotter is an automated technology that notifies local 911 operators about gunshots fired in the area. Within minutes, police were dispatched to a report of a shooting where the injured party was in a vehicle a few blocks away at 44th and Penn Avenue North. According to further police scanner audio, police indicated that the injured party told them he was a security guard and confirmed that he’d been shot near 36th and Penn Avenue and had returned gunfire. Police also indicated that there were two guns in the vehicle with the injured party, who was subsequently transported by EMS to an area hospital.

Police indicated that a nearby residence had also been struck by gunfire, and the Minneapolis Police Crime Lab was requested to the scene. Later reports stated that a bullet had entered a child’s bedroom, but no one was injured.

DeSantis Proposes Solution to Stop the Sabotaging of President Trump’s Agenda by Federal Judges.

Article III of the United States Constitution makes one remedy for judicial tyranny as plain as language can make it. "The judicial Power of the United States," Section I of Article III begins, "shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish."

With that plain language undoubtedly in mind, Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida offered a historically plausible solution to the problem of inferior federal judges who have insisted upon sabotaging President Donald Trump's popular agenda.

"Congress has the authority to strip jurisdiction of the federal courts to decide these cases in the first place," DeSantis wrote. Moreover, the governor noted that congressional Republicans dropped the ball on this issue.

"The sabotaging of President Trump’s agenda by 'resistance' judges was predictable – why no jurisdiction-stripping bills tee’d up at the onset of this Congress?" DeSantis added.

MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle was forced to apologize to Tulsi Gabbard after falsely claiming the Director of National Intelligence praised the 'good friendship' between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.

Appearing on her 11th Hour show on Tuesday, Ruhle delivered the apology live on air after repeating what Gabbard's office called 'literal fake news' during the previous episode.
