I think of how the vast majority of the 'professional class' (doctors, lawyers, business owners of all kinds, teachers AND students, any kind of 'licensed' activity, permits, badges… on and on), the vast majority of such people are subconsciously trapped inside some kind of Gordien Knot. Their entire life has been in some relation to Big Daddy Government. Most people can't stand the idea of such a betrayal nor a necessary rebellion because of government's corruption. But ijdfk
Im not exactly sure what your suggesting, but as for myself i do not think "government" is in ANY position to be picking and choosing who gets a "license" for ANYTHING anymore. Government has well proven to this person (me anon), that government can never be trusted to issue such "permissions" to get on in life.
That said… i know lots and lots of people who can not possibly imagine doing their "job", contracting, services, driving, building, renovation, food cooking… without the "license and permits and registrations and concomitant insurance". It's as if people have been brainwashed to believe the the little pieces of paper and cards and stickers are the things actually driving the car, flying the plane or swinging the hammer.
At least going back to private/org Certifications would be a step in the right direction if people still need/want the security blankets.
How many people in the past twenty or thirty years have "Legally" acquired a "Driver's License", yet never demonstrated knowledge of how stupidly dangerous and deadly selfish it can be to tailgate?
What assurance is there anymore that a "Licensed Contractor" doesn't hire lowest cost Illegals, cuts every corner, uses cheapest grade materials and pays kickback to the County Zoning, Permits and Inspections to look the other way?????
A "Licensed Pilot" that had the Standards lowered or exempted to fill vanity slots or to satisfy fake virtue signals???
Goodness, just think of what a DOGE could/would discover in the world of misplaced trust in "License"? Ugh.
You can tell just by the look on his face, this guy as practiced A LOT!
