The alleged perp since wrote a "letter of apology" .but supposedly there is no possibility of rescue or relief until late next fall (in northern hemi)
The whole story sounds like an unusually contrived set up for something else, something worse, to come, possibly a Steven King novel.
That's in addition to the Ancient One's Shoggoth haunted halls beneath the ice.
Why is SA sending "scientific teams" to pengy land any way?
Is there perhaps the possibility of some looting or enslaving ice demons?
