A shocking statement — suggesting that only “fraudsters” would be concerned if their Social Security check didn’t arrive.

It’s the latest in a long line of comments from the Trump Administration that show their disdain for working- and middle-class Americans.

Some other examples:

1️ "Perhaps they're not fit to have a job at this moment." —Alina Habba, Counselor to the President, on veterans being fired en masse by Elon Musk (March 4, 2025)

2️ "I can tell you [10% declines in the stock market] are healthy. They're normal." —Scott Bessent, billionaire Secretary of the Treasury, as Americans see the value of their retirement accounts plummet (March 16, 2025)

3️ Trump's policies are "worth it" even if they lead to a recession. —Howard Lutnick, billionaire Secretary of Commerce, as families struggle with rising costs (March 11, 2025)

4️ "Social Security is the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time." —Elon Musk, billionaire advisor to Donald Trump, as seniors worry about whether their benefits are safe (February 28, 2025)

5️ "Have fun!" —Trump to farmers who are concerned about market uncertainty and canceled contracts (March 3, 2025)

The Trump Administration isn't looking out for people who are concerned about the cost of groceries, rent, or healthcare — or who rely on Social Security.

They're looking out for themselves and their billionaire backers. That's it.
