Went to a show once. We were on a sidewalk camping it out for a week. People acted pretty much like this, and a lot even shared food/water/drinks and even with a few homeless that passed by. One guy was just thrilled to get some mosquito (safe) spray.
It's amazing what kindness and respect can do for a society.
