coincidently CRA sent me a letter the same day as the fire so my mail was being forwarded to a location way out of the way for me + that postal-station had short hours like 2:00pm to 5:00pm and because i did most everything online i didn't get that letter till it was too late to send a notice of objection. Tried talking to CRA but they said it was none of their concern and they emptied my bank acount leaving me to operate on a cash onli basis which was tough to do and i got behind… losing my truck first and them my condo.
I didn't have knowledge of the postal mechanics or my COL till August 2020 otherwise… well you know.
