A republic, as in the Constitution and Bill of Rights, was an attempt to chain down The Beast.
It is sad to see how far down our once great America has been stomped, by the very monster our foundation tried to warn us about. I have no idea if Trump and team can successfully restore those BoRs principles in a basic and functional form… i do believe it will require prayers, divine grace and something close to miraculous.
I was skeptical at first about Trump putting the actual Declaration in the Oval… but even if it is only a nice copy, the symbolism alone of such a reminder TO ALL (that it is ALWAYS the right of we the people to alter or abolish crap "Government")… is as powerful a message i have ever gotten from good man DJT.
I pray for him that dear Lord above is touching his heart with guidance in such a profound Conflict as We are in now.
It IS a bit strange to think how Trump could legitimately (and technically with just a 'tweet'), invoke the Declaration and ask for 100 million armed men and women to assist in the removal of 2 (or 10) million recalcitrant "Government" shitbag Judges, Legislators and Bureaucrats from DC and thousands of other local government offices around the country… in an afternoon. All of Government should be fully informed of such a potential if they refuse to do as We the People see fit.
I don't want to see such a mess, but i ALSO want Government to know that They can not Win such a contest.
I can't do now as i could fifty years ago,
lots of miles and many seasons behind me.
However i do offer honest prayers and best wishes for all of us.
