Bernie Sanders Shocks Supporters, Praises Trump’s Border Security: ‘Nobody Thinks Illegal Immigration Is Appropriate’ (VIDEO)

Senator Bernie Sanders has said he supports President Trump’s efforts in securing the U.S. border and stopping illegal immigration.

During an interview on This Week, host Jonathan Karl asked Sanders whether he thought there was anything Trump had done right.

“I think cracking down on fentanyl, making sure our borders are stronger,”Sanders replied.

“Look, nobody thinks illegal immigration is appropriate, and I happen to think we need comprehensive immigration reform, but I don’t think it’s appropriate for people to be coming across the border illegally.”

However, he was more critical of Trump’s plans to carry out mass deportations of illegal immigrants, saying it “destroy” America.

“He wants to deport 20 million people who are in this country who are undocumented,”Sanders said.

=“Well, you do that, you destroy the entire country.”

“Because I got news for you, Trump’s billionaire friends are not going to pick the crops in California that feed us.”

“They’re not going to work in meatpacking houses,” he continued. “That’s what undocumented people are doing.”

Later on in the interview, Sanders got visibly annoyed and brought the exchange to a close after he was asked about his own political future.

“Right now I’m Vermont’s senator,” he said. “That’s what I do.”

”And I’m very happy to do it. I am 83 years of age. And I’m tired.”

His remarks come as he and fellow socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are traveling America with their “Fight Oligarchy” tour, which is attractinghuge numbers of the left-wing faithful at a time when Democratic energy is at an all-time low.

The tour is mainly a response to push back against Elon Musk’s efforts at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), where he is aiming to make over a trillion dollars in cuts to the federal budget.

“Over the course of the next few weeks I’ll be hitting the road to have real discussions across America on how we move forward to take on the Oligarchs and corporate interests who have so much power and influence in this country,” the tour’s website states.

Last week, it emerged thatSanders’ team sent out an email advising everyone planning to attend to wear a mask and stay home if they believe they are suffering from COVID-19, despite the pandemic ending severeal years ago.

Trump Says Oswald ‘Was Helped’ with Assassination of JFK

President Trump has again stated that he believes that Lee Harvey Oswald “was helped” with the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy.

Trump’s statement comes on the heels of 80,000 previously classified documents related to the assassination being released by the U.S. National Archives.

Trump discussed the matter during an interview with OutKick founder and conservative radio host Clay Travis on Air Force One.

“Do you think Oswald killed JFK personally?” Travis asked.

“I do, and I always felt that,” Trump replied. “Of course, he was … helped.”

Trump saidthe document dump “turned out to be somewhat unspectacular” but concluded, “Maybe that’s a good thing.”

The president did not elaborate on who helped Oswald.

There have long been theories about who else was involved, ranging from Israel, the U.S. government, the Mafia, the CIA, the Cuban government, and the KBG.

The official narrative established by the 1964 Warren Commission is that Oswald was a lone wolf — but there have long been theories that the government was hiding a more sinister truth. Polls as recent as 2023 show that over 60% of Americans believe there was a conspiracy behind Kennedy’s death.

Senator Rand Paul on “Face the Nation” Discusses Clawing Back Federal Funds(VIDEOS)

Senator Rand Paul was on CBS’s “Face the Nation” with host Margaret Brennan on Sunday to discuss topics including clawing back Federal funds.

“I’ve seen it reported that you have pitched to Elon Musk a plan to claw back 500 billion dollars in Federal funding that Congress has already approved,” Brennan commented.

“Do you think you can actually get this done in a rescission package, and how much money do you think you can get back?” Brennan asked.

“This goes to another huge legal question.Can the President impound money, or does he have to send it back, and we approve the cuts through recission? And this is going all the way to the Supreme Court also,” Paul said.

“Can Secretary Rubio pause the spending? On that issue, I think they will win. You will be able to pause spending,” Paul commented.

“It is my personal belief we should adhere to the law as it is now. That is send it back and have Congress confirm it. It’s a simple majority vote. It’s called recission. I did mention this to Elon Musk. He seemed enthusiastic,” Paul continued.

Senator Paul was asked about funds and how they will be handled now that the Department of Education is in the process of being eliminated.

“Do you have a guarantee that the Federal Government, Federal taxpayers will still provide two billion in education funding? That seems important to your State,” Brennan asking about funds sent to Senator Paul’s State of Kentucky for education.

“What I’d rather is a guarantee that my kids can read and write and do math,” Paul said.

“Dollars are not proportional to educational success,” Paul continued.

This liberal rise came in the runup of the controversy over Donald J. Trump’s comments about Canada’s exceedingly high tariffs on US products.

Trump eventually said that if Canada can’t survive without massive subsides from the US, then they should become the 51st state – and all hell broke loose in the Canadian political landscape.

Former banker Carney says he needs ‘a clear mandate’ to deal with Trump, saying the US president ‘wants to break us so America will own us’.

This election will be held against the background of an impending trade war between Canada and its biggest trade partner the US.

“The Liberals and the Conservatives are essentially tied in the polls ahead of the expected election call today.

Colorado Republican State Rep. Ken DeGraaf was forced to cover a “Shall not be infringed – 2A” sticker on his laptop during a House session on Friday, as it was deemed “offensive.”

The sticky incident occurred during adebate over SB25-003, which seeks to ban the manufacture, distribution, transfer, sale, and purchase of specified semiautomatic firearms in Colorado, classifying rapid-fire devices as “dangerous weapons.”

The bill also includes provisions for a Firearm Owner Identification (FOID) system, requiring instructors to verify completion of firearms safety courses and mandating federal firearms licensees to check a buyer’s eligibility for semiautomatic firearms.

“I had to cover up this, they couldn’t stand my sticker,” Rep. DeGraaf said while speaking on the House floor.

“It said ‘shall not be infringed’ and signed ‘2A’ and that was considered offensive, which I understand would be offensive to this bill,” he added.

Rep. DeGraaf, a vocal opponent of the bill, accused Democratic colleagues of being offended by the U.S. Constitution.

Fox News reports, “As DeGraaf lamented the covering of the sticker, he was informed that the only reason for the request was because such displays are banned in the “well” of the chamber, which sits between the chamber’s front desk and the first row of member seats.”

“So OK, no displays of the Constitution in the well, got it,” Rep. DeGraaf fired back.
