Forgotten Man on April 2nd
All my eggs are in this basket. I've held out for years and years. This could be the pivot that I've been waiting my entire life for. Finally, American Workers will get a say in their wages. Like Elon said, before Trump, success was never a possible outcome. Which also makes me wildly suspicious of any of the midlevel (and higher) people that have been rich the past 100 years. As much as I'd like to see prices of stuff go down, I would MUCH rather see my wages go UP. Or have more competition in the job market so I could go somewhere that pays a living wage.
To be fair, I'm doing better than most, I have a couple months worth of cash and assets in case I got laid off (or quit this fucking job), I've got a house on a few acres in the country. But really I'm paycheck to paycheck like everyone else. No retirement, just slavery forever. Chronic health issues, mostly gastric and neurological.
Companies coming back, jobs coming back, corporations FINALLY having to work FOR THE PEOPLE rather than trying to kill us all off, having to pay us LIVABLE WAGES, I have high hopes. I know men who have killed themselves because of not having any hope. I've never had any real hope until Trump, and I've had to temper my expectations just because it's a lot to hope for. A future. A good future. All I want is to live for something other than day to day slavery. I want to have a family. I want to have kids someday. That's a whole other topic and feels impossible but is pretty much the same problem. We live under slavery, but if Trump doesn't back down on real tariffs, we will be free, genuinely free. Trump will have ended slavery in America in function.
God Bless.
