Thoughts?

1) Why did Lee Harvey Oswald attempt to kill former Major General Edwin Walker?

Walker had resigned, not retired over a disagreement with Kennedy. Walker was in some ways the model for the right wing Generals in “Seven Days in May”. My view is that Walker was looked at by the KGB as one of the possible leaders of a coup to take over the U.S. and launch a nuclear attack on the Soviet Union.

2) What Role did the book, “Seven Days in May” play in the Assassination?

The 1962 novel describe a right wing takeover of the U.S. Government in order to launch a nuclear attack on the Soviet Union. There were many parallels with real life events. The KGB felt the book was a CIA message and veiled threat toward them. Did the book inspire the KGB to use Lee Harvey against Walker and then Kennedy? Was the book a CIA Mockingbird Program message?

3) What was Lee Harvey doing in Mexico City in September and October 1963 trying to contact Kostikov, a KGB Assassin?

Sniper teams are normally made up of two to three persons, did Kostikov and potentially others converge on Dallas to take the shots at Kennedy and set Lee Harvey up?
