You ever see a cat pounce? You can feel it, and wait, and almost feel it's timing, but it always happen unexpected. Mix that with the stealth the lion has, it's impact is even greater of surprise.

So far there's been many times we've expected it to "pop off" but we have yet to see it unfold in that fashion.
