Jeffrey Goldberg Gives Cryptic Response When Asked About His Relationship with Mike Waltz

The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg gave somewhat of a cryptic response when CBS News asked him about his relationship with National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.

President Trump, for now, is standing by his National Security Advisor Mike Waltz after Deep State reporter Jeffrey Goldberg was added to a Signal chat group.

However, Mike Waltz’s relationship with Jeffrey Goldberg has come into question after a screenshot of the Signal group clearly shows Waltz added The Atlantic editor to the “Houthi PC small group.”

It was reported on Monday that Jeffrey Goldberg, the anti-Trump editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, claimed he was accidentally added to a secure Signal group chat where top Trump administration officials discussed sensitive military operations against Iran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen.

According to Jeffrey Goldberg, National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Vice President JD Vance were in a Signal group called “Houthi PC small group,” discussing plans to strike terrorists in Yemen.

After the first release of chats from the Signal group, Jeffrey Goldberg vowed to release the ‘war plans’ discussed in the text chain.

Goldberg released the second round of messages from the chat group on Wednesday at it was clear that he over promised and under delivered.

Although no war plans were discussed in the “Houthi PC small group” on Signal, the main question is, how did Mike Waltz add Jeffrey Goldberg to the chat group if he insists he has never spoken to him? How was Jeffrey Goldberg in his phone contacts?

On Tuesday evening, Mike Waltz said he takes full responsibility for what happened since he is the one who created the Signal chat group.

Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham could not understand how Jeffrey Goldberg ended up in Mike Waltz’s phone in the first place if he has never spoken to him before.

“But you’ve never talked to him [Jeffrey Goldberg] before, so how’s the number on your phone?” Laura Ingraham asked Waltz.

Waltz replied, “Well, if you have somebody else’s contact and then somehow it gets sucked in, it gets sucked in.”

Although Mike Waltz insists he has never spoken to Jeffrey Goldberg, it appears they might actually know each other.

According to investigative reporter Paul Sperry, Mike Waltz was a source for Jeffrey Goldberg while he was serving on the House Intel Committee.

Per Paul Sperry: Though Waltz insists, “I wasn’t talking to [Goldberg],” a US intel official told me Waltz was a source for Goldberg while on HPSCI. “There’s no need for an investigation to figure out how he was added to the chat.Goldberg was in his address book b/c he’s been talking to him”

Additionally, Mike Waltz attended an event moderated by Jeffrey Goldberg in 2021.

“I’m just not going to comment on my relationship with Mike Waltz,” Jeffrey Goldberg told CBS News in an interview Wednesday.

When asked about the photos of him standing near Mike Waltz at an event in 2021, Goldberg said, “If your eyeballs see us together, then I guess your eyeballs are seeing us together.”

During a House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Chairwoman of the Delivering on Government Efficiency (DOGE) Subcommittee, revealed perhaps the most outrageous cost for taxpayers courtesy of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).

Greene’s subcommittee held a hearing Wednesday with testimony by National Public Radio (NPR) CEO Katherine Maher and PBS CEO Paula Kerger as the Committee seeks to defund the far-left state propaganda stations.

During the hearing, Greene played a clip of a drag queen featured on PBS’s programming for children as young as three years old, singing and indoctrinating the young viewers. This came after PBS CEO Paula Kerger claimed that this program never aired and was posted on their website “mistakenly” but taken down “immediately.”

Radical Democrats have learned nothing from the last election and are still fighting for they/them, instead of you. Throughout the hearing, they defended this depravity, decried Republicans for exposing the garbage that taxpayers are funding and ranted about saving Elmo. Far-left dummy Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) lost it at one point and went on a vulgar race-baiting tirade, where she called the GOP’s agenda “bullsh*t.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Greene grilled Maher and Kerger early in the hearing, questioning Maher’s radical anti-Trump statements and woke programming on PBS, which featured transgender teenagers and one film titled “Racist Trees.”

Later in the hearing, Rep. Will Timmons (R-SC) asked Kerger about the station's transgender programming for children, and lied, saying that "The drag queen was actually not on any of our kids shows. The image that that Chairman Taylor Greene showed was from a project that our New York City station did with the New York City Department of Education… It did not air."

She continued, "It was mistakenly put on our website by our New York City Station. It was not intended for national distribution. It was immediately pulled down. It was never broadcast."

Timmons further grilled Kerger on the "Racist Trees" segment, which aired on PBS, and she denied knowing anything about the program.

As Congresswoman Greene then pointed out, "Ms. Kerger lied under oath and said it wasn't featured on PBS." She continued, "This show was aired on PBS on April 1, 2021."

Greene further showed the receipts from PBS's website, revealing that the disgusting clip, featured in the so-called educational programming for children, was not "immediately pulled down," as Kerger claims, but expired nearly two months after it first aired.

The clip that Greene played for the Committee shows the "predator" cross-dresser luring young children by singing a spin-off of 'Wheels on the Bus' and shaking his hips and shoulders, and showing a close-up shot of his mouth.

"We're going to start with our hips," he says before singing, "the hips on the drag queen, go, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish" and "the shoulders on the drag queen, go, shimmy, shimmy, shimmy, shimmy, shimmy, shimmy, shimmy, shimmy, shimmy."

"The mouth on the drag queen goes blah blah blah all through the town."

House passes legislation to keep foreign influence out of higher education

The DETERRENT Act passed in a 241 to 169 vote.

The Republican-led House on Thursday passed legislation to limit foreign influence in U.S. universities and colleges.

The DETERRENT Act passed in a 241 to 169 vote.

The legislation mandates that schools have to report foreign gifts that are at $50,000 or more to the Department of Education.

The legislation bans donations from China and Russia.

“The lack of transparency around foreign relationships with our nation’s universities should concern every American as we see stolen research, antisemitic propaganda, and academic censorship," Education and Workforce Committee Chairman Tim Walberg said in a statement after the bill passed.

"This is a major win for transparency, accountability, and protecting students from foreign adversaries attempting to influence U.S. universities," Washington GOP Rep. Michael Baumgartner said after the bill was passed.

The report revealed that from fiscal years 2019 to 2023 more than 448,000 unaccompanied minors were transferred to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ custody, with the majority then released to sponsors. However, more than 31,000 of the children’s release addresses were blank, missing apartment numbers, or otherwise incomplete.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Inspector General's office confirmed the government failed to properly monitor tens of thousands of unaccompanied minors who crossed the border without parents

“Without an ability to monitor the location and status of UACs, ICE is unable to facilitate court appearances and has no assurance UACs are safe from trafficking, exploitation, forced labor, or involvement in criminal activities that may pose a risk to local communities,” the DHS inspector general said.

The report, published Wednesday, revealed that, from fiscal years 2019 to 2023, more than 448,000 unaccompanied minors were transferred to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ custody, with the majority then released to sponsors. However, more than 31,000 of the children’s release addresses were blank, missing apartment numbers, or otherwise incomplete.

"After meeting with more than 140 individuals from DHS and other Federal agencies, we determined U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) cannot effectively monitor the location and status of all unaccompanied alien children (UACs) once released or transferred from Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) custody," the report reads. "ICE also was not always aware of the location for UACs who fled HHS’ custody."
