Fucking cowards, they are, and though the misprision of treason statute (18 U.S.C. 2382) does not impose the penalty of death (like the treason statute, 18 U.S.C. 2381, does), it does hold them accountable to at least some extent.
My hope is we see them held liable, and that the United States Congress will amend 18 U.S.C. 2382 so that misprision of treason (knowing and saying nothing) also imposes the penalty of death.
If we don't toughen up our laws now, these assholes will just do this all over again, and we have to introduce deterrence into our system of justice.
