This contract should be terminated once the USs is paid back, reparations are made, chemical plants moved off the border, and most importantly than all, a new transparent election system is put in place. The election system is the safeguard against future corruption because this new system will work simultaneously as not only an election system but a recall system. We the people want peace because WTP never benefit from war, only the elite do. And as a final concession to all, this model has to be a "We eat our own dogfood" type of approach, meaning that besides Ukraine adopting this new system that the US and even Russia must adopt this new transparent system. This will lead to only the best candidate remaining in office.
