The US Military commander, on the ground in AFG, and the entire military chain of command, should have been immediately relieved. Relieved because none resigned. Relieved due to complete and utter incompetence.
To be more specific, ALL of them should have resigned for the absolutely dangerous, nonsensical orders given to them to “retreat” from Afghanistan and leave U.S. citizens behind. How dare they not consider the conditions and stand up and do the right thing. 13 American military were KIA and many seriously WIA.
And the retreat from Afghanistan should be, will be, a case study in how NOT to execute a RETREAT under fire.

) must ensure that NONE of the senior leaders involved be promoted (in fact, all of their decisions need to be reexamined). Some may need to be brought in under oath and questioned. I’m told there are some promotions in the wings for some of these flag officers. I pray my intel is bad.
