Lara Trump Interviews Susie Wiles

March 29, 2025 | Sundance | 76 Comments

The Chief of Staff to the President is a key administration official in any White House. With one foot in policy and one foot in politics, the CoS shapes the outcomes of a presidency.

Current White House Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, appears on Fox News for an interview with Lara Trump to share her views and perspectives along with her role in assisting President Trump with MAGA success.

Within every interview there are always nuggets that help put perspective on the interpersonal dynamics. One of the nuggets within this interview is Wiles sharing how she came to be in the original orbit of President Trump.

According to Wiles she was “asked by a mutual friend” to travel to New York and meet with candidate Trump in “late December 2015.” That timeline would be post-Fox Debate (Megyn Kelly attempted hit – Aug ’15) when President Trump was leading every republican primary poll and became the enemy of the professional Republican establishment. Ex-Italian PM reveals ‘secret mission’ for Zelensky

The Ukrainian leader reportedly asked Massimo D’Alema to seek help from China and Brazil to prevent Kiev’s collapse

Former Italian Prime Minister Massimo D’Alema has claimed that he undertook a secret diplomatic mission to Brazil and China on behalf of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky to garner international support, amid fears that Kiev would be abandoned by its Western backers.

The revelation was made during a conversation with Italian politician Gianfranco Fini published by La Repubblica on Thursday. According to D’Alema, Zelensky approached him sometime in 2024, expressing fears of a potential catastrophe as Western support waned.

“I happened to speak with Zelensky on the sidelines of an initiative on the Balkans. And he told me clearly that his country was at risk of disaster because ‘the Americans will withdraw sooner or later, and the Europeans are not reliable,’” the former prime minister told Fini.

“He asked me to go to Brazil and Beijing to find out if Lula and Xi Jinping could do something,” D’Alema claimed. Neither Brazil nor China has publicly confirmed any visits by the former Italian official.

In Brasilia, President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva reportedly dismissed the initiative outright, insisting that Ukraine is an “American problem.”

“I went there, but Lula almost showed me the door, telling me that Ukraine was a problem for the Americans and that, according to him, I should be interested in Palestine instead,” D’Alema said.

In China, D’Alema reportedly met with one of the Communist Party’s top foreign policy officials, and discussed the idea of an international peacekeeping force for Ukraine. At the end of the meeting, the Chinese official is said to have remarked: “You know, you are the first European who came to talk to us about this. The others are just asking us not to support Russia.”

The former prime minister also criticized the EU for fueling what he described as unrealistic expectations about the conflict. “Europe has done nothing but repeat that Russia could be defeated, when it was clear to everyone that the war could not be won by anyone,” he said.

Yemen’s Houthis claim attacking US aircraft carrier three times in last 24 hours

"The counteraction operation involved missile troops, unmanned aerial vehicles and naval forces that used several cruise missiles and drones," the Houthi spokesman said

DUBAI, March 30. /TASS/. Members of Yemen’s radical Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement attacked the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier three times in the last 24 hours, spokesman for the Houthi armed forces Yahya Saree said on Sunday.

"In the last 24 hours, our armed forces engaged in a battle with a group of enemy warships led by the US aircraft carrier Harry Truman three times in the Red Sea. The counteraction operation involved missile troops, unmanned aerial vehicles and naval forces that used several cruise missiles and drones," the Houthi spokesman said during a live broadcast on the Al-Masirah TV channel.

On March 15, US President Donald Trump announced the start of a military operation against the Houthi rebels that control about a third of Yemeni territory. He explained the decision by the Houthi attacks on commercial vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. The US operation involves the Harry Truman carrier group based in the Red Sea. It regularly delivers strikes on the Houthi-controlled territory in Yemen.

France, UK assisted Ukraine in strike on Sudzha gas metering station — Foreign Ministry

According to Maria Zakharova, the guidance and targeting of the strikes were conducted using French satellite systems, while UK specialists provided the coordinate input and carried out the launch

MOSCOW, March 28. /TASS/. There is reason to believe that the Ukrainian strike on the Sudzha gas metering station was carried out with the assistance of French satellite systems, while British specialists input the coordinates and hit the launch button, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated in response to the Kiev regime’s latest attack on Russia’s energy facilities.

"We have grounds to believe that the guidance and targeting of the strikes were conducted using French satellite systems, while UK specialists provided the coordinate input and carried out the launch. The command was issued from London. Just a week ago, on March 21, this facility was already subjected to a terrorist attack by the Kiev regime, which ordered its militants to blow it up as they retreated from the Kursk Region. Now, following the missile strike, the Sudzha gas metering station has been virtually destroyed," the diplomat noted.

Zakharova added that on March 28, Russian air defenses shot down and intercepted 19 Ukrainian UAVs attempting to attack the Saratov oil refinery.

"These are not the first acts of terror by the Ukrainian army against Russia's energy infrastructure following the March 18 announcement of a ban on shelling such facilities. Strikes have targeted gas industry enterprises, power distribution substations, and oil storage facilities, including those belonging to the international Caspian Pipeline Consortium, across the Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod regions, as well as Crimea and the Krasnodar Region," she added.

Kiev can't be trusted

The diplomat emphasized that "the terror unleashed by the Kiev regime against Russia’s energy industry is yet further evidence that it lacks any values." "As we know, Vladimir Zelensky publicly endorsed the moratorium proposed by the presidents of Russia and the United States on refraining from strikes against Russian and Ukrainian energy facilities, yet he has made no effort to comply with it," the diplomat noted.

"This incident confirms that Kiev has no intention of pursuing peace. Its mindset remains rooted in war, and it is determined to intensify the conflict. The regime is prepared to resort to any provocation to obstruct efforts aimed at achieving a lasting resolution to the Ukrainian crisis," the diplomat emphasized.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry released a video showing a fire at the Sudzha gas metering station after the Ukrainian army struck it on Friday morning.
