Cross outside Minnesota Capitol building destroyed.

“What kind of message does this send to Christians in Minnesota? That their faith has no place at the Capitol?” Wiener asked.

But, when he went to see, he instead saw the cross that he helped to build in pieces and an “individual in handcuffs.”

At this point it appears a Ten Commandments display is gone.

A sign reading “All out of f–s switching to bricks” was left behind.

“This is very disappointing. Is this a hate crime?” Wiener asked.

“I was so proud to be a part of making it. After the controversy with the Satanic display inside over Christmas we wanted to promote our Christian values. The inside was already booked. So, we said ok, let’s do a display outside,” he added.

Tim Walz concedes he’s prone to being a ‘train wreck’ as he offers a critique of Democrats.

Walz told New York Magazine in an interview published Monday that the Democratic Party is too "timid."

The left-wing governor is currently hosting a tour of town halls targeting voters in red districts across the U.S. He notably claimed during a March 27 town hall event that his party has gotten into its current “mess” because it let Republicans “define the issue” on key policies such as diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and immigration.

While a host of recent polls have shown that many voters disapprove of the Democratic Party and House Democrats’ leadership, several surveys have revealed that Americans largely approve of how President Donald Trump is handling his role as president thus far in his second term. Relatedly, Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin wrote in a Feb. 18 memo that voters “now see the Republicans as the party of the working class and Democrats as the party of the elites.”

Mississippi has officially abolished its state income tax, positioning itself as a leader in the movement for economic freedom and limited government.

Republican Governor Tate Reeves signed the legislation into law Friday, declaring it a “generational victory” and a bold new chapter for working families, entrepreneurs, and freedom-loving Americans across the South.

“We did it, Mississippi!” Reeves wrote in a triumphant post on X. “We just eliminated the income tax!”

While Washington continues to suffocate the American people with taxes, inflation, and runaway spending, Mississippi is doing the opposite — returning power and prosperity to its citizens.

There are nine states in the United States that do not impose a state income tax: Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming. And now, joining their ranks—Mississippi!

Governor Reeves said in a statement: "Because I believe in a simple idea: that government should take less so that you can keep more. That our people should be rewarded for hard work, not punished. And that Mississippi has the potential to be a magnet for opportunity, for investment, for talent — and for families looking to build a better life.”

"The elimination of the income tax is not just a win for our economy. It’s a win for freedom. A win for families. A win for the idea that Mississippi can lead — that we will lead — in the century to come.”

"And I believe with all my heart that we will look back on this day as a turning point, a generational victory, and a proud legacy we leave for those who come after us.”

Tim Walz’s daughter says she’s ditching grad school over lack of support for protesters.

The daughter of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) announced on TikTok she is ditching graduate school due to what she says is a lack of support for the right to protest at higher education institutions.

“I applied for one school. I kind of had my heart set on it. I am not going to name the institution but given recent events I am not going to give my money, go into debt for, or support institutions that do not support students and the right to protest and speak out for their communities,” Hope Walz posted Sunday.

“Students deserve to be protected. I am not worried about if I were to be protected or not at said institution; I am, you know, a privileged white woman. But I am not going to put myself in the position where I am giving money or supporting institutions that don’t support their students,” she added.

Hope Walz made this decision amid a crackdown on protest rules at college campuses after the pro-Palestinian encampments last spring.
