Trying to make people words feel more important with the idea to try to make it as if they are not to just communicate.
This is one thing that if someone looked objectively at communication how it has evolved. As many languages especially written where mixed much more up until about the 1850 when this started to change more and more.
This shows in cultures that did not have written languages and the construction of them by linguists. More educated ones would pull from mult language to construct a representation that is most accurate to sound… of it being spoken. To all the languages giving it a unique feel for it.
