Did you know very few tribes had full head dresses like this. It is an over sensationalized image. This was or can be compared to like the souther dress of kings basically in Meso America…
It shows they know very little about culture so on in this aspect
Feathers where a lot more rare then people think back then it was something not many would have. How a chief had this many shows how many like sub clans they had so on ones that had this type where kinda like leading the nation so on their maybe would have been like 30 at most that existed in real life.

Some of this was to give a sense of pride and purpose back to people in ways. Not that this is wrong but understanding culture for what it is… the thing.
