Cops demand ID from man for pulling over on a public easement to use his iPad and unlawfully arrest him for exercising his right not to ID.

They are domestic enemies to the Constitution of the United States of America and We the People it represents. It's not a few bad applies, the entire orchard is rotten and on fire. The "thin blue line" are ALL domestic enemies.

>The United States is a police state

Very much so. Justice William J. Brennan Jr., who authored the Supreme Court’s 8-1 opinion in City of Houston v Hill, wrote that “freedom of individuals verbally to oppose or challenge police action without thereby risking arrest is one of the principal characteristics by which we distinguish a free nation from a police state.” when they invalidated as unconstitutional an ordinance that read "It shall be unlawful for any person to assault, strike or in any manner oppose, molest, abuse or interrupt any policeman in the execution of his duty, or any person summoned to aid in making an arrest.” Their reasoning was that free protected speech can not be criminalized and can not be interference.

Youtube is FULL of videos of cops arresting people for merely speaking up, claiming they're "taking our attention".

So is the point in allowing this to keep happening to keep costing the people a lot of money?

Federal lawsuit incoming. Cops tell couple they're not allowed to record them on traffic stop, then arrest passenger when she lawfully refuses to ID. Multiple rights violated.

They even mock the couple asking multiple times where they got their law degree because the couple actually know the law.
