Everyone knows the best thing to do in a collapsing stock market is to panic and sell everything at a loss.
Then they are like, y'know, stupid.
Interestingly enough, Blackrock and Vanguard would be able to comfortably sell off large quantities, to crash the retail markets and then buy back in to drive it up with higher share of the wealth. Plus it makes Trump look bad.
As far as they are concerned, win-win.
