Our house is completely paid off.
It is a small 3 bedroom raised ranch. Nothing fancy. And our property taxes are $8000 a year.

We need a governing body to govern Congress and the Senate. The State senators should be regulating the US senate and congress.
No moar giving themselves perks, and raises, and insider trading.
They need term limits and to be stripped of all of the perks that they have given themselves.
But that probably wouldn't work either because the State Senate is probably also bribed and blackmailed to do the bidding of the criminals.

I had some lady show up at my house in 2010 while I was bringing groceries in from my car. She told me that she was there because I didn't return my long form census that they had sent me. She told me that it was THE LAW that I had to fill out the long form of the census.
She said that if I was having a problem filling out the census that she could sit down with me and help me to fill it out.
I told her that the reason for the census is to establish how many people live in each State so that each State would get the proper numbers of Representative in Congress.
And all other information that they ask for is none of their damned business. And they could probably get that info. from other sources anyways.
I told her that I had returned the form that said there were 3 people living in my household at the time, and that's all the info. they were going to get out of me.
Never saw that lady again. And never got bothered again.
