Mysterious underwater 'pyramid' believed to be 12,000 years old reshapes history

08:23 EDT 08 Apr 2025,A sunken 'pyramid' near Taiwan may rewrite everything we thought we knew about the ancient world.

Sitting just 82 feet below sea level near the Ryukyu Islands of Japan, amysterious object called the Yonaguni monument continues to stump and astonish researchers since its discovery in 1986.

This giant structure with sharp-angled steps stands roughly 90 feet tall and appears to be made entirely of stone, leading many to believe it was man-made.

However, tests of the stone show it to be over 10,000 years old, meaning that if a civilization built this pyramid by hand, it would have taken place before this region sank under water - more than 12,000 years ago.

That would place it further back in history than most other ancient structures by several thousand years, including the Egyptian pyramids and Stonehenge.

Currently, scientists believe that the ability for ancient humans to construct large structures like temples and pyramids evolved alongside the development of agriculture 12,000 years ago.

If an advanced society was already building giant step pyramids long before this time, however, it could change the history books forever and reveal another lost tribe of humans - just like the myths of Atlantis.

In fact, Yonaguni monument is often called 'Japan's Atlantis,' but skeptics continue to poke holes in the theory that this structure was actually built by human hands.

The site recently gained widespread attention after scientists sparred over its origins on the Joe Rogen Experience podcast.

Graham Hancock, an author focused on lost civilizations and archaeologist Flint Dibble debated over the pictures of Yonaguni monument, with Dibble refusing to concede that any of the structures found by divers could have been made by humans.

'I've seen a lot of crazy natural stuff and I see nothing here that to me reminds me of human architecture,' Dibble said while a guest on Rogan's podcast last April.

'To me, Flint, it's stunning that you see that as a totally natural thing, but I guess we've just got very different eyes,'Hancock countered.

Hancock added that photographs from dives at the site clearly show human-made arches, megaliths, steps, terraces, and what seem to be a carved rock 'face.'

If Yonaguni monument really was built by a mysterious civilization over 10,000 years ago, it would addit to the growing list of puzzling structures that should have been impossible to construct that long ago.

Built around the same time period, Yonaguni monument could potentially join the man-made ancient structure of Göbekli Tepe in Turkey as evidence of lost civilizations.

This archaeological site in Upper Mesopotamia is believed to have been inhabited from around 9500 BC to at least 8000 BCE, during the Pre-Pottery Neolithic Era.

That's over 5,000 years before the Egyptian pyramids were built and roughly 6,000 before Stonehenge.

Meanwhile, another ancient structure in Indonesia could predate Göbekli Tepe and Japan's Atlantis by a staggering amount of time.

Gunung Padang, first re-discovered by Dutch explorers in 1890, is said to be the world's oldest pyramid.

Studies show that the 98-foot-deep 'megalith' submerged within a hill of lava rock dates back more than 16,000 years.

In 2023, scientists said the structure promises to upend the conventional wisdom on just how 'primitive' hunter-gather societies actually were - revealing the true 'engineering capabilities of ancient civilizations.'

According to Dr Masaaki Kimura, the case surrounding Japan's Atlantis is very much still open for debate. Kimura is the scientist who tested the sandstone's age, finding that the rocks date back more than 10,000 years.

At this point in history, the structure would have still been on dry land, before the melting of massive ice sheets caused global sea levels to rise at the end of the last Ice Age.

Studies show that at the peak of the Ice Age, roughly 20,000 years ago, sea levels were approximately 400 feet lower than they are today…

'I think it should be considered a primarily natural structure until more evidence is found to the contrary. However, by no means do I feel that this is an absolutely closed case,' he added.

Breitbart’s Carney: ‘I Don’t Think We Should Give the Stock Market a Veto over the Public Policy of the United States’

Jeff Poor8 Apr 2025

On Monday, during an appearance on CNN’s “Newsnight,” BreitbartNews economics editor John Carney challenged CNN International’s Richard Quest about the market responseto the Trump administration’s tariff strategy.

According to Carney, the market’s response should not be the sole determinant of public policy.

Partial transcript as follows:

QUEST: Can I just tell you something? I’m tired of sitting in debates like this and having everybody say, oh, you know, you elites, you people of this — at the top, you at this, you at that all day. I’ve heard this. The reality is, yes, there are maybe a smaller section of the country that is share-owning in their own right, but millions of people have 401(k)s. And even if you don’t have a 401(k) or you don’t have a retirement account, your company depends on the market.

CARNEY:I don’t think we should give the stock market a veto over the public policy of the United States. And so if the stock market doesn’t like us doing the right thing, just like Jay Powell didn’t do, the Fed doesn’t say, oh no, we can’t raise interest rates because of —

QUEST: No. The Fed — whoa.

CARNEY: You might not —

QUEST: The markets knew that the Fed had to do it to get rid of inflation.

CARNEY: The market went down. And why did it go down?

QUEST: Yes, they didn’t like it, but they knew that was the orthodox that. And they knew that was the orthodox monetary policy that was falling —

CARNEY: And this is what we’re doing today.

QUEST: This is not orthodox.

CARNEY: It’s not orthodox, you are absolutely correct, but the market will realize that this is the right thing to do and it’s necessary. We had no choice.

(PS Trump got out of the stock market around 2009-10 crash, his priority is the American people.)

Exclusive: Senior CIA Official Who Facilitated Biden’s Military COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate Fired

Kristina Wong8 Apr 20251/3

Terry Adirim, a senior Central Intelligence Agency official and former senior defense official who played a pivotal and potentially illegal role in the Biden Administration’s military vaccine mandate, was recently fired from the agency, a source has exclusively revealed to Breitbart News.

Adirim, a former senior Biden appointee at the Department of Defense who was performing the duties of the assistant secretary of defense for health affairs, had decamped in December to the CIA as director of CIA Centers for Global Health Services until about a week ago, according to the source.

Her firing was related to her role in forcing service members to choose between taking a vaccine that was under Emergency Use Authorization or being kicked out, according to the source.

On September 14, 2021, about a month after then-Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered the vaccine mandate,Adirim issued a memo instructing DOD health care providers to consider the vaccine available to service members — Pfizer’s BioNTech vaccine — as “interchangeable” with a vaccine that was approved by the FDA, known as Comirnaty.

She wrote:

Per FDA guidance, these two vaccines are ‘interchangeable’ and DoD health care providers should ‘use doses distributed under the EUA to administer the vaccination series as if the doses were the licensed vaccine.’

Consistent with FDA guidance, DoD health care providers will use both the PfizerBioNTech COVID-19 vaccine and the Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccine interchangeably for the purpose of vaccinating Service members in accordance with Secretary of Defense Memorandum, ‘Mandatory Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination of Department of Defense Service Members,’ August 24, 2021.

Her memo was considered legally dubious even inside the Pentagon, as Breitbart News reported in September 2022.

A month after Adirim issued her memo, a senior defense official proposed allowing service members who did not want to take the EUA vaccine to wait for the FDA-approved vaccine before facing punishment for being unvaccinated.

Deputy Assistant Secretary ofDefense for Health Readiness Policy and Oversight David J. Smith, proposed in a draft memo that would replace Adirim’s memo:

If a Service member, after medical counseling, declines administration of the EUA-manufactured product, DoD health care providers should engage with their logistics chain to secure and administer the [Biologics License Application]-manufactured Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty product prior to any punitive action being taken against the Service member.

Smith’s action memo was addressed to Adirim, with a recommendation for her to sign the draft memo with the proposed change.

According to the documents obtained by Breitbart News, the draft memo had been sent to the military services for coordination, and a senior Air Force official objected to it, arguing that adopting the change could open the military up for more litigation and possibly force it to reverse punishments already given for not taking the vaccine.

His response said the proposed change would suggest that DOD considers the EUA-manufactured vaccine different from the FDA-approved Comirnaty product and could open the Air Force up to lawsuits, and that since adverse action had already possibly been taken, “significant remedial actions” would probably be required.

The proposal was never adopted, with legal implications for the DoD.

Under 10 U.S.C. Section 1107(a), a defense secretary can order service members to take an FDA-approved vaccine, but he cannot legally order service members to take an EUA-manufactured vaccine without seeking and obtaining a waiver from the president.

Also under 10 U.S.C. Section 1107(a), that waiver must be signed by the president then the defense secretary must formally notify Congress of the waiver. Congress has never received notification of such a waiver.

Austin had pledged in an August 9, 2021, memo to service members that he would seek a presidential waiver, but it is not clear he ever did so. He also pledged that his order would only use the FDA-approved vaccine. Breitbart News questioned the Biden Pentagon if Austin ever sought a presidential waiver to mandate the EUA-manufactured vaccine, but was given the same verbiage that appeared in Adirim’s memo:

Per FDA guidance, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine and the Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccine had the same formulation and the two vaccines were ‘interchangeable.’ Accordingly, DoD health care providers could ‘use doses distributed under the EUA to administer the vaccination series as if the doses were the licensed vaccine.’

Comirnaty has not been widely available in the U.S. for reasons that are not clear. In July 2022, the FDA reissued its EUA of the Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, noting, “There is no adequate, approved, and available alternative to Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine to prevent COVID-19.”

The DOD later would be hit with lawsuits from service members suing the DOD for trying to force service members to take the EUA vaccine instead of the FDA-approved vaccine.

One of the lawsuits was led by formerMarine Capt. Dale Saran, the military attorney who ended the Pentagon’s anthrax vaccine in 2004. In an interview with Breitbart News in 2022, hecalled Adirim’s memo a “fraud.” he said:

The undersecretary of defense for health affairs, a woman named Terry Adirim, published a memo claiming that the unlicensed product, BNT162b2 — Pfizer’s unlicensed EUA product — could be substituted in that it was interchangeable with the licensed product. … .That’s the fraud that’s at the heart of our case.

It would not be the first time Adirim would appear to skirt the law.

Adirim left the DOD in 2022 to go to the Department of Veteran Affairs, where she appeared to have violated the Hatch Act, as previously reported by Breitbart News. Just weeks before the 2022 midterm elections, Adirim liked a tweet soliciting donations to Democrats. Doing so is not allowed under the Hatch Act, which seeks to make sure federal employees do not engage in politics while in an official role.

The tweet, by a doctor named Mark Shrime on October 30, said:

If you are not voting blue this election then you’re voting to end our Democracy. Please take a moment to donate and/or share this link. We need this win for the right to choose and for America!

#VoteBlueForDemocracy

He included a link to ActBlue, a fundraising organization for the Democratic National Committee.

According to the Hatch Act, a federal employee — even when not on duty — cannot “like” a post soliciting political contributions at any time.

The Office of Special Counsel (OSC) states in its Hatch Act guidelines for federal employees on social media: “No federal employee may ‘like’ a post soliciting for partisan political contributions at any time.”

The guidelines also state: “Liking, Sharing, or Retweeting Solicitations Rule: Employees, even when not on duty or in the workplace, may not like, share, or retweet a post that solicits political contributions, including invitations to fundraising events.”

Asked if Adirim violated the Hatch Act, VA Press Secretary Terrence Hayes said in a statement:

VA will not comment on personnel matters and notes that by law, the Office of Special Counsel has exclusive authority to render advisory opinions on and investigate allegations of political activity prohibited by the Hatch Act; and the Merit Systems Protection Board has exclusive authority to determine whether a violation of the Hatch Act has occurred.

After Breitbart News’ query, Adirim unliked the tweet.

Adirim has since protected her X account, but has been voicing support for vaccines on her Bluesky account.

More than 8,700 service members were forced out of the military over the vaccine mandate, and tens of thousands more are estimated to have voluntarily left.

Since taking office again in January, the Trump administration has been trying to undo the damage caused by the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate. President Donald Trump in January signed an executive order to reinstate service members who were kicked out, along with backpay and their same rank, and is also welcoming back those who voluntarily left, but without backpay and a minimum of two years of service.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth followed up with a directive to the services to implement the executive order and on Monday, the Pentagon announced it would be contacting every service member who was kicked out over the vaccine with further instructions on how to be reinstated. Chief Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement:

We’re committed to doing right by those who were affected by the Department’s former COVID-19 vaccination policy. For the roughly 8,700 service members who were separated solely for refusing the vaccine, this is an opportunity to return to service-and we want them to know the door is open.

Starting today, the Department will begin outreach to ensure each of these individuals receives clear information on how to pursue reinstatement.

He said they have until April 1, 2026, to pursue reinstatement.

“We’re working hard to make sure each of them receives clear information and support throughout the process. Their service mattered then, and it still matters now. We’re ready to welcome them back!” he added.

Nurse Who Refused to Refer to Male Paedophile as a Woman Suspended

Kurt Zindulka8 Apr 2025

A Christian nurse has been suspended from her role in Britain’s National Health Serviceafter she spoke out about allegedly being disciplined for refusing to refer to a biologically male convicted paedophile patient as a woman.

Jennifer Melle has been suspended by the St Helier Hospital in Carshalton, London over allegedly breaching patient confidentiality after she spoke out about being previously disciplined by the NHS Trust for refusing to use female pronouns when referring to a male convicted child sex abuser while under her care.

Despite Melle claiming that the patient had racially abused her and physically threatened her, the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) determined that she was “a potential risk” for refusing to acknowledge the paedophile s preferred “gender identity”.

According to Melle, after she refused to abide by his pronoun demands, the child sex offender responded: “How about I call you n*?… Yes, black n***!”

After speaking to the press last month over the incident,Melle received word last week that she had been suspended from her position for violating the child sex offender’s confidentiality. This comes despite Melle not publicly disclosing the name of the convict, who is currently incarcerated in a high-security prison after being found guilty of sexually abusing multiple boys after posing as a teenage girl online.

The nurse has vowed to launch a lawsuit against the NHS Trust, claiming harassment, discrimination and human rights violations.

”Ever since I expressed my Christian beliefs under extreme pressure, I have been a marked woman,” she said in a statement published by the Christian Concern charity. “Despite being the one placed at risk, I am the one being punished. I have been made to feel like a criminal.”

Melle is being supported in her legal effort by the Christian Legal Centre, which has claimed that the case is “unprecedented”.

Andrea Williams, chief executive of the Christian Legal Centre, said: “This is blatant, unlawful victimisation. Jennifer’s decision to speak out about her treatment is a legally protected act under the Equality Act.

“The NHS has become so entrenched in transgender ideology that it is willing to side with a man brought in from prison in chains —who was openly shouting racist abuse—over a Christian nurse.

The Christian Legal Centre has called for a complete “U-turn” and full apology from the NHS and to reinstate Melle without further lengthy investigations, which they claimed are often used as an “exercise in buying time to piece together the NHS narrative.”

Melle has garnered support in both the private and political realms in Britain, with Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch describing the treatment of the nurse as “completely crazy”.

She has my full support. It’s time the Government pulls its finger out and intervenes to make it clear no one should be punished at work for stating biological reality to paedophiles,”the Tory leader said.

Treasury Secretary Bessent says China’s escalation was ‘big mistake,’ country playing with ‘losing hand’

PUBLISHED TUE, APR 8 20257:22 AM

KEY POINTS

• Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Tuesday the U.S. holds a substantial advantage over China in the burgeoning trade war.

• “What do we lose by the Chinese raising tariffs on us?We export one-fifth to them of what they export to us, so that is a losing hand for them,” he said.

• Bessent added that he expects the U.S. to be able to strike “good deals” with many of its trading partners.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Tuesday the U.S. holds a substantial advantage over China as the two nations exchange threats in a burgeoning trade war.

I think it was a big mistake, this Chinese escalation, because they’re playing with a pair of twos,” Bessent said during an interview on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”“What do we lose by the Chinese raising tariffs on us? We export one-fifth to them of what they export to us, so that is a losing hand for them.”

The comments come a day ahead of the U.S. raising its duties on China and dozens of other nations as part of so-called reciprocal tariffs whose purpose, Bessent said, is to bring trading partners to the negotiating table and jobs back to the U.S.

So far, he said Japan has been at the forefront of countries eager to negotiate, and the White House expects a multitude of others.

“I think you are going to see some very large countries with large trade deficits come forward very quickly,” Bessent said. “If they come to the table with solid proposals, I think we can end up with some good deals.”

Ultimately, the hope would be to generate both jobs and revenue from the tariffs, he added.

“If we put up a tariff wall, the ultimate goal would be to bring jobs back to the U.S. But in the meantime, we will be collecting substantial tariffs,” Bessent said. “If we’re successful, tariffs would be a melting ice cube, in a way, because you’re taking in the revenues as the manufacturing facilities are built in the U.S., and there should be some level of symmetry between the taxes we begin taking in with the new industry from the payroll taxes as the tariffs decline.”

While he said some 70 countries have reached out to the White House to begin talks, China has vowed it will “fight to the end” and has imposed 34% tariffs on U.S. products.

In return, President Donald Trump said he will slap another 50% charge on Chinese imports if the tariff is not withdrawn. The U.S. in 2024 ran a nearly $300 billion trade deficit with China, or about one-third of the entire imbalance.

With the tariffs, Trump is hoping to open up more markets for American products and reshore manufacturing operations to the U.S. However, the administration is not simply focusing on absolute tariff levels from other nations but rather nontariff barriers such as currency manipulation, Europe’s value-added tax and other methods the White House says undermine fair trade.

“Everything is on the table,” Bessent said.“The academic literature shows that it’s actually the nontariff barriers which are harder, both harder to quantify and … they’re more insidious because they’re hidden, they’re obfuscated.”

Stock market futures, which already had been indicating a strong open on Wall Street, added to gains after Bessent spoke.

Iran names location for high-level US talks

Negotiations between the Iranian foreign minister and US president’s special envoy will take place in Oman this week

The Iranian foreign minister has confirmed that Tehran and Washington are set to hold indirect talks over Iran’s nuclear program in Oman on Saturday.

The two countries will communicate through intermediaries rather than engaging in direct face-to-face discussions.

In an interview with the Tasnim news agency on Tuesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said thathe and US President Donald Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, will lead the high-level negotiations in Oman.

“It is as much an opportunity as it is a test. The ball is in America’s court,” the Iranian foreign minister said in a post on X on Tuesday.

According to Iran’s NourNews agency,Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al-Busaidi will also take part in the negotiations.

Trump announced on Monday that the US will hold “very high-level talks” with Iran on Saturday to address its nuclear program, warning that failure to reach an agreement would result in a “very bad day” for the Islamic Republic.

The US president earlier revealed that he had sent a letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, proposing renewed negotiations over the nuclear deal, which the US unilaterally withdrew from during Trump’s first term in 2018. He further warned that if Tehran rejects the offer, it could face bombing strikes “the likes of which it has never seen.”

Tehran, which denies it is seeking nuclear weapons, rejected the demand for direct talks. Araghchi denounced the proposal as “meaningless.” “If you want negotiations, then what is the point of threatening?” he questioned.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that Tehran is willing to engage in dialogue with Washington but only on equal terms. He urged the Trump administration to demonstrate a genuine commitment to negotiations, emphasizing that Iran will not agree to talks at any cost – particularly not under pressure or in demeaning conditions.

While Trump stressed his preference for a diplomatic way to strike a deal with Iran, he warned that “Iran is going to be in great danger”if the talks fail “because they can’t have a nuclear weapon.”

In response to US bombing threats, Iran reportedly placed its military on high alert on Sundayand warned neighboring countries that host American bases – including Iraq, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, and Bahrain – not to support any potential US strikes.

US could pull 10,000 troops out of Eastern Europe – NBC

The downsizing could reportedly affect half of the forces deployed by ex-President Joe Biden after the escalation of the Ukraine conflict

The US is considering withdrawing up to 10,000 troops from Eastern Europe, NBC News reported on Tuesday, citing sources. The move could come as US President Donald Trump is engaged in talks with Russia to reach a settlement in the Ukraine conflict and seeks to focus more on China.

Theunits in question are among the 20,000 personnel deployedto the continent by the administration offormer US President Joe Biden in 2022 after the escalation of the Ukraine conflict, six unnamed US and European officials familiar with the matter told the network.

The sources noted that while the exact figure is still under discussion, the proposal could affect US troops stationed in Romania and Poland– two NATO members close to the Russian border.

According to NBC,European officials expressed concern that a potential drawdown could stoke fearswithin NATO that the US is abandoning the bloc in the face of the perceived Russian threat. (The fear everything if the U.S. is not there.)

Former US Defense Department senior official Seth Jones said the move would weaken the US military posture and increase Moscow’s “willingness to meddle in various ways across the spectrum in Europe.”

As of early 2025, there were nearly 84,000 US troops stationed in Europe, with the bulk concentrated in Germany and Poland, with more modest forces deployed in Romania, Estonia, and Lithuania, according to the US European Command.

The report comes as the Trump administration continues to push European NATO members to take more responsibility for their own defense, including by increasing defense spending while focusing on China containment.

Meanwhile, the US is engaged in talks with Russia to reach a ceasefire in the Ukraine conflict and restore bilateral relations, which sank to an all-time low during the Biden administration. Moscow has repeatedly expressed strong concern about NATO expansion and the bloc’s military activities on its borders.

Russia has welcomed what it called a willingness by Washington to explore the “root causes” of the Ukraine conflict – including Kiev’s desire to join NATO, which has long been a red line for Moscow.

(Yes, Yes, Yes withdraw the troops, why are we even there, there’s NATO to protect them, with US soldiers embeddedAmerica is NOT the worlds policemen!)

Moscow confirms new Russia-US talks

The next round will take place in Istanbul in the coming days, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry

The next round of Russia-US talks aimed at improving =diplomatic ties will take place in Istanbul, Turkiye in the coming days==, Russia’s Foreign Ministry confirmed on Tuesday.

The two countries have held several rounds of high-level meetings since US President Donald Trump took office in January.

The upcoming talks will focus on normalizing the operation of the two countries’ diplomatic missions, the ministry told Russian media outlets on Tuesday. The venue, format, and participants of the talks will remain unchanged from a previous round on February 27, also in Istanbul, it said.

“Work to remove numerous technical barriers complicating the day-to-day functioning of diplomats from both countries will continue,” the ministry said, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

The Russian delegation will be led by Moscow’s new ambassador to Washington, Aleksandr Darchiev, while the US side will be headed by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Eurasian Affairs Sonata Coulter. Representatives from both foreign ministries will also take part.

Plans for a new meeting were first announced last week by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who saidMoscow and Washington were “in contact by phone and video conference” as they prepared for the next round of talks.

In recent years, Russia and the US cut diplomatic staff at each other’s missions, imposed banking restrictions on each other and seized diplomatic properties. The escalation of the Ukraine conflict in 2022 further exacerbated tensions and led to further restrictions.

Trump has moved away from many Biden-era policies, calling for a swift resolution to the Ukraine conflict and a reset in bilateral ties.

The first meeting between Russian and US high-level delegations took place in Riyadh on February 18, focusing on restoring embassy operations and easing restrictions. A follow-up round in Istanbul on February 27 addressed diplomatic funding and Russia’s proposal to reinstate direct flights between the two countries.

Last month, delegations from both sides met again in Saudi Arabia, where they agreed to revive the Black Sea Grain Initiative. Following the talks, Trump signaled that Washington could consider lifting certain sanctions to advance the deal, which is seen as a step toward resolving the Ukraine conflict.

(Zelensky and team must be going crazy, the U.S. has met with them once, and Russia 3x, for a good reason.)

Would-be Trump assassin sought rocket launcher from Ukraine

Ryan Routh allegedly planned to use the weapon to kill the then-presidential candidate

A pro-Ukraine activist sought to acquire an anti-tank grenade launcher and a Stinger anti-aircraft missile to kill Donald Trump during the US president’s ultimately-successful campaign, arecently published court document claims.

The suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, was arrested in September after US Secret Service agents found him with a rifle on the perimeter of Trump’s golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida. Courtdocuments show that he also considered other options involving much heavier weapons.

A motion filed by the US Justice Department with the Florida Southern District Court claims that, in August 2024, thesuspect reached out to an “associate Routh believed to be a Ukrainian with access to military weapons.” The document was published by investigative journalist, Ken Silva, on the Scribd platform this week.

A convicted felon, Routh had unsuccessfully attempted to join the Ukrainian military in 2022. He afterwards embarked on a scheme to recruit former Afghan commandos to fight for Kiev in the conflict with Russia.

Routh allegedly openlytold his unidentified associatevia an encrypted messaging appthat he wanted to kill Trump, who was still a presidential candidate at the time, the document said.

The suspect also repeatedly stated that Trump’s election would be “not good for Ukraine.” He also reportedly urged his Ukrainian contact to “send [him] an RPG or a Stinger.” An RPG is a Russian shoulder-fired anti-tank grenade launcher, commonly known in the post-Soviet countries.

“I need the equipment so that Trump don’t [sic] get elected,” Routh wrote in one of the messages. The suspect also allegedly told his contact that itshould not be a problemto get him what he needs since“you are at war and those items [get] lost and destroyed daily – one missing would not be noticed.”

According to the document, Routh was never able to get his hands on either a grenade launcher or a Stinger. He is now expected to face trial in September 2025. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of life in prison.

US could seize illegal migrants’ property – Reuters

The action will reportedly be taken against those who defy deportation orders and fail to pay fines

The US government is considering confiscating the property of illegal migrants who fail to pay fines for overstaying their deportation orders,Reutershas reported, citing documents it reviewed.

US President Donald Trump has launched a crackdown on illegal immigration since taking office in January.

The Department of Homeland Security announced last week thatmigrants who stay in the country after receiving a final order of removal will be issued a penalty of $998 per day.

If they do not pay, their property could be seized, Reuters wrote on Tuesday. The agency also cited an unnamed senior official as saying thegovernment plans to apply the penalties retroactively for up to five years, potentially leading to fines of more than $1 million.

There are no federal laws prohibiting undocumented immigrants from purchasing property in the US. They can buy homes or cars using cash, and financing options exist. Some states, however, such as Texas and Florida, require proof of legal presence for vehicle registration or obtaining a driver’s license.

According to emails reviewed by Reuters, the White House has urged US Customs and Border Protection to handle penalties, property seizures, and the sale of assets of migrants who don’t pay.

Theplan targets the roughly 1.4 million people who have been ordered to leave the countryby an immigration judge, the agency noted.

The fines are based on a 1996 law that was enforced for the first time during Trump’s first term in office in 2018.Reuters cited court records as showing that at least four migrants were issued fines of around $60,000 at the time.

Former PresidentJoe Biden stopped issuing the finesand revoked the policies when he took office in 2021.

During his election campaign last year, Trump criticized Biden for his approach to foreigners residing unlawfully in the country, blaming this for the escalation of migration at the US-Mexico border.

Since taking office, Trump has expanded expedited removal, denied federal funding to sanctuary jurisdictions, and increased border enforcement hiring through a series of executive orders. He has also declared a national emergency, allowing the deployment of the armed forces to secure the border.

(Did Reuters make this up?)

(WHO losing money, their plan, “quick propagandize Pandemics”)

8 Apr, 2025 16:18

Next pandemic could strike ‘tomorrow’ – WHO

Governments must invest in a response to global contagion, the World Health Organization has suggested

Another deadly pandemic could emerge as soon as “tomorrow,” the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned, calling on the countries of the world to prepare for it. (There wasn’t the first deadly pandemic!)

In a statement on Monday, the WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus urged governments to invest in health security and finalize the Pandemic Agreement, an international treaty on pandemic prevention and response.

The global outbreak of COVID-19, which began in late 2019, resulted in an estimated 20 million deaths worldwide and wiped more than $10 trillion from the global economy, according to the WHO. (The died from lies and vaccines, these people are desperate and evil)

A new similar contagion “could happen in 20 years or more, or it could happen tomorrow. But it will happen, and either way, we must be ready,” Ghebreyesus has said, describing it as “an epidemiological certainty” rather than “a theoretical risk.” (So they are creating the next Covid in their labs.)

A pandemic can cause more social and economic damage than a war, he claimed, while pointing out thatthe investment needed in health security is “nothing” compared to what governments spend on defense. (The WHO is crashing and burning and burned all their money.)

”All countries need to find a balance in protecting their people from both bombs and bugs,” he said.

On Tuesday, the US proposed a record-breaking $1 trillion defense budget. In March, the European Union announced a plan to mobilise up to €800 billion to militarize the bloc, citing a perceived threat from Russia.

While the Pandemic Agreement under discussion atthe WHO does not specify exact amounts that governments are expected to allocate, it aims to improve global preparedness and response to future threats.

In January, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order initiating the withdrawal of the United States from the WHO, despite historically being the largest single contributor to the organization. Trump cited its alleged mishandling of the COVID-19 global outbreak, as he initiated the year-long withdrawal process.

Trump has also appointed critics of mainstream COVID-19 policies to key health positions. Dr. Jay Bhattacharya,a Stanford University professor known for opposing lockdowns and vaccine mandates, was appointed to lead the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a prominent vaccine sceptic, became Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).

EU nation’s plans to dismantle Soviet war memorials ‘a disgrace’ – Kremlin

Russian intelligence earlier reported that Riga intends to removeWWII monuments over soldiers’ mass graves

Latvia’s reported plans todemolish Soviet-era war memorials from cemeteries in the capital Riga are “a disgrace,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

The plans were first reported on Monday by Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), which said Latvian authorities intended to dismantle Soviet memorialsunder the guise of archaeological research, allegedly to overshadow the 80th anniversary of victory over Nazi Germany which Russia celebrates on May 9.

”To show such disrespect and treat the memory of those who saved you from fascism this way is a disgrace to the country. Woe to those who wage war against their own history,” Peskov told journalists on Tuesday.

Latvia considers its time under Soviet rule a military occupation and, like Baltic neighbors Estonia and Lithuania, has been systematically removing symbols from that period – including WWII monuments honoring fallen Soviet troops.

According to the SVR,Riga plans to quickly remove about a third of the monuments over Soviet soldiers’ mass graves. The SVR claims the scheme includes staged archaeological digsaimed at debunking the existence of mass graves beneath the memorials. The operation will allegedly begin at Riga’s Orthodox Tornakalns Cemetery and the Military Brothers’ Cemetery.

Legislation adopted in Latvia in 2022 mandated the removal of monuments dedicated to Soviet and Nazi eras, while specifically excluding burial sites from its scope. In August of that year, authorities toppled the Monument to the Liberators of Soviet Latvia and Riga from the German Fascist Invaders in Victory Park in the capital.

In October 2023, the Latvian Parliament, the Saeima, introduced a draft law to dismantle Soviet monuments in cemeteries and replace them with neutral markers such as crosses or plaques. The proposal sparked debate, with some MPs questioning its necessity and potential consequences. The bill has not yet been enacted.

Since gaining independence in 1991 following the fall of the Soviet Union,Latvia has also implemented numerous policies that have marginalized its large ethnic Russian minority. The country bans Soviet and Russian symbols, resulting in dozens of arrests by Latvian police during Victory Day events over the past two years.
