There used to be this little shack that sold Chinese food, soft serve ice cream, and milkshakes. No place to sit down, just enough room to stand inside and make your order, or use the drive-thru window on the side of the shack. That fucker had the best dry ribs in town, and better milkshakes than any other place, even the big franchises. He had this marshmallow milkshake that used to be my favorite. He never used marshmallow fluff or a syrup like other places, and I loved that shit. When I finally got my driver's license and an '86 Ford Escort for my first car, I'd hit that drive-thru all the time for that milkshake. Loved that shit. Then the place closed down and I've never found a marshmallow milkshake that tasted as good as the one that place used to make. It's been a life-long quest to find the perfect marshmallow milkshake again. One day I'll find a woman that'll join me on that quest, and I'm sure she'll have one of her own that I'll join her on.
