Hybrid wheat is bred to be shorter and it isn't GMO. We don't want all the damn straw, it takes nutrients to grow too tall, then falls over before harvest and gets moldy.
Lots of Non GMO corn in the US.
It is grown all over the midwest. You still have to spray so the weed don't take over the fields. It's just non gmo. It is all hybrid corn that is bred into resistance naturally.
There are still non gmo soybeans grown also. Lots in my area. Clear Hilum
