Benefits of Currency Devaluation

Ways of Currency Manipulation

While QE is primarily a monetary policy tool aimed at stimulating a sluggish economy by lowering interest rates and increasing the money supply, it can have the indirect effect of putting downward pressure on a country's currency, making exports cheaper and potentially affecting international trade.
These methods can be used to gain an unfair competitive advantage in international trade, leading to trade disputes and tensions between countries.
