U.S-Iran Talks: Araghchi to Lead 'Indirect' Negotiations He Once Called 'Fake'

Iranian officials tried to downplay the situation at home, claiming the U.S. hadn’t responded to their offer for indirect talks.

But at a joint press conference with Benjamin Netanyahu, President Donald Trump revealed that talks with Iran had already started - and that on Saturday, the two sides would hold direct high-level negotiations.

Hours after Trump’s comments, during the middle of the night in Tehran, it appears that Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, was forced to announce that negotiations would take place on the same date Trump mentioned, “indirectly” in Oman.

Thats why democrats and republicans constantly say "democracy".

They dont teach history or law to people, they set the people up to fail.
