Top spy official Joseph Kent confirmed the intelligence community is actively investigating whether the FBI played a role in the January 6 Capitol breach.
Kent, chief of staff to DNI Tulsi Gabbard, during his Senate confirmation hearing:
“We’re looking into it right now"
He referenced FBI informants present that day and suggested the bureau’s Washington Field Office is under review.
The probe follows growing pressure from Trump allies alleging government orchestration.
Gabbard’s office said her new task force is executing Trump’s orders to root out politicization and investigate intel abuse across agencies.
