Kent Nielsen, a citizen journalist in Denmark, has published a video and Twitter posts stating that two Danish farmers have already reported that cows being fed Bovaer have developed fevers, diarrhoea and mastitis. One farmer has had 6 cows die after feeding them Bovaer.

The Danish government has been force implementing the feed additive Bovaer into the national herd. The programme began in April 2024 when the Danish government set aside 518 million Danish crowns ($74 million) to finance the feed additive. By January 2025, farmers were being fined for not adding the harmful chemical to cattle feed.

A petition against the use of Bovaer, which was started in January 2025, says, “As of January 2025, the government will force farmers to add the chemical Bovaer to feed additives … Farmers who do not join will be punished with fines by the state.”

The petition goes on to state that several experts have come forward expressing concerns about the health consequences for both animals and humans who consume Bovaer-fed animal products. “Critics argue that the additive’s long-term effects on animal health and the environment are unknown,” the petition states. A Canadian woman slated to run under Maxime Bernier’s People’s Party of Canada in the upcoming federal election says her bank account was suddenly “frozen” by the government the same day her candidacy was confirmed.

Meghan Murphy, a prominent advocate against harmful transgender ideology, posted on Substack Monday that the “same day” she was confirmed as the PPC’s candidate for the Vancouver East riding, she “tried to access” her bank account but “could not.”

“I contacted my bank, Vancity, and was informed the account had been frozen as per direction from the government,” Murphy wrote, adding that she had accessed the account “just two days prior, so the timing was clear.”

“I had not been informed of this freezing by anyone — not the bank, not the government. No one attempted to contact me. I was completely blindsided,” Murphy continued.

LifeSiteNews reached out to the PPC, who confirmed Murphy’s story and said that the party is hoping to gather more details about what happened and why.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) deployed almost a dozen fire engines to tackle the blaze at the Fenix Battery Recycling, located on the Byrehill Industrial Estate in North Ayrshire. The fire broke out almost exactly one year after the same site was severely damaged by a blaze that raged for two days.

Witnesses said the fire last Wednesday was accompanied by a series of loud explosions, and reported large plumes of smoke rising from the scene. The SFRS advised that windows and doors be kept closed and for residents not to pick up any debris in the surrounding area.

The Nikkei Newspaper in Japan reported Tuesday that Honda is “considering shifting some of its car production to the US” to avoid President Donald Trump’s 25 percent tariffs on imported vehicles. The article says the company wants to make 90 percent of the cars it sells in the US within the country, up from about 70 percent now.

This shift would affect the production of CR-Vs and Civics currently made in Canada and could impact Honda’s plant in Alliston, Ontario, which employs roughly 4,200 people and built about 375,000 vehicles in 2023, reports Bloomberg.

EPS last issued a warning about Ventress in 2015.

A two-year investigation has dismantled what police allege was a major criminal organization operating in Grande Prairie and surrounding areas.

Six individuals now face a total of 22 charges following the conclusion of Project Glacier, a probe led by the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT).

Authorities say Doug Wheeler, 42, of Wembley, Alta., was the alleged leader of the group, which was reportedly trafficking drugs throughout Grande Prairie and the British Columbia Peace Region.

Wheeler has been charged with instructing the commission of an offence for a criminal organization and conspiracy to traffic drugs, among other offences.

"Doug Wheeler was allegedly the head of a criminal organization that was deeply rooted in Grande Prairie and beyond," said Insp. Brad Lundeen of ALERT.

"Drug trafficking, linked to his group, would have caused considerable community harm."

The investigation concluded on March 13, resulting in the arrest of Wheeler and five others: Joseph Collicutt, 38, and Jesse Lukac, 31, both from Grande Prairie; Patrick Arcand, 26, from Sexsmith; Cody Yanishewski, 27, from Grande Prairie; and Shannon Pearse, 31, also from Wembley.

Police seized approximately $283,000 worth of drugs and cash during the investigation. The haul included 2,219 grams of cocaine, 319 grams of cocaine buffing agents, 1,110 illicit opioid pills, and various amounts of illegal steroids.

Two firearms were also recovered, including a loaded handgun that had previously been reported stolen. The weapons have been sent to ALERT’s Provincial Firearms Solutions Lab for ballistics testing and analysis.

Project Glacier began in November 2022 and involved support from multiple agencies, including the Grande Prairie RCMP, Grande Prairie Police Service, Public Prosecution Services Canada, Alberta Registries Special Investigations Unit, Forensic Accounting Management Group (FAMG), and the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC).

The accused are scheduled to appear in court on May 26, Grande Prairie.

ALERT is funded by the Alberta government and combines the province’s top law enforcement resources to combat serious and organized crime.

Lower Mainland drug bust nets suspected fentanyl, cocaine, luxury vehicles and cash

A four-month investigation by the Burnaby RCMP’s Drugs and Organized Crime Section (DOCS) has resulted in the seizure of kilograms of suspected fentanyl and cocaine, as well as hundreds of thousands of dollars in luxury vehicles and cash.

On March 22, officers executed a search warrant at a waterfront home in West Vancouver linked to a dial-a-dope drug trafficking operation.

A man and a woman were arrested at the scene. Police also found two children living in the residence, raising serious safety concerns.

“Having children living in a residence with these types and amounts of drugs inevitably puts them in danger from these drugs as well as other elements that come from being in a criminal lifestyle,” said Sgt. Randy Mortensen, of Burnaby RCMP’s DOCS.

Alongside the drugs, investigators seized more than $40,000 in cash, two high-end vehicles, two Ducati motorcycles, and two Sea-Doos from the property.

“People involved in the distribution of these drugs are contributing to the staggering number of deaths over the past decade in this province,” Mortensen added.

The investigation remains ongoing.
