Why I am disappointed in ACB and JR but I do not hate them

Remember how many times during the campaign we saw videos of minorities going to Trump rallies and being surprised that they were met by smiles and an outstretched hand? Remember how many times people said they abandoned the side of the uniparty over demands for ideological purity? How many times have counters to the uniparty been destroyed by internal squabbling over ideological purity?

Remember that this is a mind war. Remember that this is not it's first battle, nor it's last. Remember they can only win if we defeat ourselves.

How many times of late have we heard JR and ACB called traitors for disagreeing with MAGA policies? No I don't hate them. I am disappointed but I do not hate them. I am frustrated but I do not hate them. It takes a particularly strong person to stand fast when faced with overwhelming disagreement, particularly when it comes with a smile, false though it be. Hating them just drives them away. Disagree with them yes. But do so calmly and with reasoned argument, not accusations and anger. Show their connections to the historic forces we oppose, then stretch out your hand to them.

The opposition is here. It is watching. It is pushing. Always it is trying to divide and conquer. Will we too fall prey, or will we hold true to what has brought us so far? Do not listen to those who counsel anger and hatred, even when they come from among us.
