>If you die you go to heaven

The bible talks about three heavens. Also in Revelation those who die in the Lord rest from now onโ€ฆ. what happened to those who died before? Why did Jesus tell them they testify against themselves when they testify about their ancestors?

Because words have multiple meanings and it doesn't say what they say it does, and many can't see the truth in it for fear.

"Before Abraham wasโ€ฆ. I am"

What was your name before your current incarnation?

>Ask the Lord your God for a sign, whether in the deepest depths or in the highest heights.

A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign, but no sign will be given it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

Jonah spend 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of a great fish. Not a whale, a fish.

Just as Jonah was swallowed up, Jesus would spend 3 days in the heart of the earth.

Know any "fish" who might have swallowed up Jesus, right here on earth? As the two dressed in white said, why are you looking to the sky for him? Who was Dagon?

It's symbolism.

As Jesus said โ€œThe mystery of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those on the outside everything is expressed in parables, so that, โ€˜they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven.โ€™โ€ฏ"

When Jesus died on the cross, the "veil" was torn.

While they certainly deserve to die in prison, what if you found out this isn't your first go around and it's something you did before? Would you still feel that way?

Why did Jesus tell them they testify against themselves when they testify against their ancestors, and if they do not forgive they will not be forgiven?

>"Can you pull in Leviathan with a hook or tie down his tongue with a rope? Can you put a cord through his nose or pierce his jaw with a hook?" (Job 41:1-2).

With God, anything is possible. We can tread on serpents.

Many.

I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: โ€œBehold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God. โ€˜He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,โ€™ and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.โ€

Jerusalem came down with God and God lives among the people.
