Mockingbird Media exposed.
The 5-6% lost to programming rebrand under the socialist party. They're a bigger joke than the green party.
Without MSM push and questionable cash flow, socialists carry some amount of stigma, but the country–now understanding the importance of free speech–lets them quietly do their thing and assemble.
Major political parties become Republican (the term "Trump Republican" isn't necessary. It's just the definition, now) and Libertarian.
A majority of the once-democrats go to the Libertarian party.
Window of political conversation is about just how small we can keep government before there is anarchy.
"Muh roads" memes increase in popularity.
Cartels destroyed.
Secret societies heavily stigmatized. Makes you ineligible for public office.
Without artificial barriers in place, post-storm, many ideals become reality. Free trade increases the wealth of nations who can compete, and nations without conservative/libertarian/nationalistic leaders become dissatisfied with their countries in hindsight.
Nationalist populist candidates sweep the world.
Global wealth rises.
Reunified Korea.

There is peace. For generations. Our great-grandchildren come and go. 100% happens gradually throughout the generations until people know our true history. Gradually, everyone begins to realize the model that works: the individual is sacred and must be respected as such. They have every freedom until they infringe upon the freedom of another individual. Then the family unit. Then the community. The city. The state or province. The nation. The identity politics and fringe groups die off naturally.
Political office becomes as boring as jury duty. Virtually anyone can be counted on to carry out the bureaucracy of government. Political parties are no longer necessary.
While crimes rates decrease everywhere, human nature still exists. There are prisons for the occasional psychopaths and crimes of passion. There are still addicts, but they are treated with rehabilitation, not incarceration.
The culture despises those who behave in harmful ways, and for the most part, this begins keeping everyone in check.
Perhaps one day, in the distant future, people begin to think our history of tyranny and war and injustice and apathy are legends. That this history is a mythology we collectively agreed to tell our children why we should behave this way, some resentment builds. Perhaps the small injustices and crimes that still exist itch so badly that people come up with radical new political ideas to scratch it.
Perhaps we find ourselves once again having to replenish our tree of liberty with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
After all, hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.
But for a long time, it will be glorious. Perhaps to a point we can hardly dream of. A point we remember currently as only the myths of Eden.
