Could you imagine have a control surface device for years with your entire workflow become useless after a buyout from a company that promised to support it? Logitech did that to loupedeck, came out with their own product after getting the IP from the buyout, and destroyed their products through software updates that cannot be rolled back. Imagine paying $150 - $650 for a device, years of work, and the software makes the device unusable. This is a predatory practice.
