Police forces don't need to be defunded, they need to be re[s]trained. They need to enact various scenarios with citizen volunteers, with civil rights lawyers coaching the citizens during the enactment.
The laws need to be reset to a level playing field between citizen and public servant. Ever since the "war on drugs," the laws have been turned upside-down in favor of enforcers (who formerly were servants).
All the crap precedents allowing no-knock raids, early-morning home invasions under color of law for non-emergency situations, they all need to be swept away in a major reset.
DJT has said (in his "Our movement…" speech) that the goal is to return power to the people. More power and militarized armaments to the police is not the way to accomplish that.
